NIGHT LIGHT NEWS
DAILY POSTINGS
Update on Matthew.
Tuesday early evening.
Matthew is stable…
He responds when Laura enters the room.
It’s as if he wants to get up & talk.
The nurse had to come in & sedate Matt a bit more.
Unfortunately, respiratory therapy did try to remove the breathing tube this morning. But Matt’s blood pressure increased. Matt’s blood pressure needs to stay low. They could not remove the breathing tube. They will try again tomorrow morning.
Matthew is resting, respiratory therapy was just in to suction and check his oxygen all was within normal limits.
With head trauma, healing is slow.
So it’s not time yet to remove the breathing tube. Slow process. Some days may be challenging with brain trauma. Some days moving forward. Oops! not ready yet. The brain is trying to heal, so healing is slow & steady. Blood pressure can put pressure on the brain. Caution! Not ready yet to remove the breathing tube. In time, it will be.
Our prayers continue. Miracles follow prayer.
