Turning Towards the East, where the Light rises.
Ancient song to the Sun.
Sunflowers as they grow, they turn & twist to face the movement of the Sun. Once they have bloomed to their fullest, they no longer turn & twist. Instead they continue to face the East, the place where the Sun rises.
And so do disciples, always turned toward the source of light.

And so in the Upanishads, we read…
Leo, the Light, the Fire of the Soul.
The Burning Ground.

The face of Truth is hidden by your orb of gold, O Sun.
Remove your veil, your orb
So that we, who seek the true, may see The light, thy glory, thy beauty & truth.
O nourishing Sun, solitary traveler, controller, source of life for all creatures, spread your light all around,
And subdue your dazzling splendor so that I may see your blessed Self. Then I see that that very Self am I!
I am That & That Am I.
O god of fire, lead us by the bright lighted path to eternal joy.
We pray again & again & yet again.

Ishvara means – ruler, chief, leader, capable of.
Isha – ruler, master, lord hidden & covered, enveloped by.
Isha – for us – the Soul, the Self.

The Face of Truth is covered
with a brilliant golden orb.
Remove it, O Sun,
so that I who am devoted to the Truth
may behold the Truth. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti.

The Face of Truth awakens us.
The Eye of Truth feeds us.
The Heart of Truth builds us.
