Update on Matthew, Juy 9, 2022

Today I spent another day with Matt in the ICU. It was a good day. What does this mean?  His care team was kind, gentle, and attentive. This allowed Matt to be more calm while healing. 

Today was a busy day with words. Which we know Matt appreciates. 
I spoke extensively of all the foods that he loves and the delicious foods we will all have with him when he is able to join us for a meal or two. 
I read to him a beautiful book called The Boy the Mole the Fox and the Horse. A book about love, friendship and kindness. I also started reading the stories, blessings and messages from all who submitted to the “Love for Matt Scott” FB page. 

I read to Matt the handful of cards that he has received. And gave him a visual description of the artwork and photos that were posted. 

I enjoyed reading all the precious stories and memories that everyone has shared about Matt. I think he is pleased with the outpouring of love, friendship and kindness that he is receiving from all of us. 

Please carry on with your prayers & love & messages & hope & positive thoughts for Matthew’s healing. He is not out of the woods yet. Thank you everyone. And Love to everyone. Matt’s sister Laura
