Sagittarius flows through Jupiter (2), into the Earth (3) & Mars 6).
Mars (6) now is retrograde, 17 degrees Gemini (2).
Mars is also the planetary ruler of Scorpio (Ray 4).
With the South Node in Scorpio (south node is the past).
With South Node in Scorpio & with Mars as 2 of Scorpio’s rulers (personality & Soul)….
– the Mars retro is very potent in the reorienting of humanity.
Mars retrograde focuses us internally.
Mars tests us as to our strength, our abilities, our courage & bravery, our desires & aspirations, & devotion & dedication to the Path.

The Law of Correspondences
Humanity is one of the kingdoms of nature on this planet, and each person is a part. The planet Earth is part of a greater system. According to the Wisdom of Correspondences, every person is a future solar system. The solar system is like a tree with limbs, leaves, flowers and fruits, and humanity is akin to seeds. All that a tree carries within itself is contained in its seed. It holds within itself the principle of livingness, and the tree itself is its manifest (form) aspect.

All that exists in the solar system is also present within each of us. There are seven main principles (Seven Rays) working through the sun and the planets, which are responsible for creation. These Seven Rays are also active within us.

The Sun corresponds to our awareness, and the Moon to the lower mind & emotions. Mercury stands for the discriminating principle, and Venus for our ability to experience the beauty of nature. Mars represents power and strength, Jupiter wisdom. Saturn causes us to understand our own limitations, so that we can develop a program to overcome them.

Aligning With the Cosmos/Heavens
Through meditation in accord with the law of correspondences, we can open up to the cosmos within. By adjusting to the macrocosmic (greater) system, we slowly bring the qualities of the zodiac and the vibrations of the planets within into accord with our lives (microcosm).
With the study of astrology & with aligning with the cosmos, we learn to sense, feel & understand the energies conveyed through the planetary principles.
Then our microcosmic system expands and loses its limitation: Gradually the feeling of being separate from the heavens disappears, and we realize that we are brothers and sisters with One Father.

We can visualize the entire cosmos within us and align with it, meditate (focus our mind) upon it with the help of the Law of Correspondences.
Similarly, along with the 12 sun signs, we can visualize the Pleiades & the Great Bear & the Pole Star. The Pole Star is seen on the head, the Great Bear with its seven stars on the forehead above the eyebrows; the scull being its cave.
The seven stars also form the spinal column with it’s seven chakras, lotuses.
In the different parts of the body, as each part is ruled by a sign…we can contemplate our birth planets, or the planets in transit.

While engaged in this, the mind is filled with thoughts of the universe instead of always & only thinking & considering mundane conversations, the news, or what our neighbors or colleagues at work might have said.

When contemplating the heavens, when aligning with them, our world expands, we include heaven & the earth in our realities, & harmony results. We realize we are made of the stars. Risa
