During these days after Epiphany, the Holy Family was in Egypt. These were productive years. The journey was arduous across the desert. But as the child was protected, even robbers gave shelter to the Holy Family. The Family spent most of their time in Matariah, a town near Cairo, in the shadow of the Sphinx & pyramids. There is a legend that when the Holy Faily entered Egypt, all early temple idols in shrines fell off their pedestal, idol statues cracked in two – this was a veiled symbol to the new Pisces world religion of Christianity to unfold in the Piscean Age. The birth of the Holy Child was the symbol of the new era of Pisces, which in each Age the new Laws are given, beginning.

The home of the Holy Family became a center where those who were ill in body mind & spirit came & found healing. Joseph was a carpenter & Mary created fine needlwork – these provided their with access to physical necessities, along with the gold given by the Magi. From midnight to dawn, there were heavenly visitations. In the Apocrypha (books not included in the Bible), stories were told of the life of Jesus while the family was in Egypt. Those who were ill came and were healed of all difficulties, even those filled with demons. The healing powers of the Holy Child extended to the birds of the air & the animal kingdom as well as to humans.
The Hoy Family remained in Egypt as long as it was unsafe for them to return to Israel. Herod had died, but his son, who became king was more wicked than his father. When it was safe for the Holy Family to return to Israel, and angel appeared to Joseph in a dream saying “Arise & take the young child & Mary go into the land of Israel.” And Joseph returned to Israel, setting up their household in Galilee, in a city called Nazareth & later Jesus came to be called the Nazarene.

Great Souls preparing for their world mission need peace & quiet to bring their spiritual powers into full fruition. The small town of Nazareth provided such an environment. It was a small village of white houses with orchards of fig, olives & pomegranites. There was a soft shimmer in the air from the Sea of Galilee. The Holy Family, Essenes, were Initiate parents & under the guidance and instruction of bands of Angels. The family was Jewish and the Jesus was taught the Jewish laws. This prepared him to later become the instrument for the Christ Presence within.

Nazareth was like a Temple of Peace and Jesus’s early education progressed. he was sent to synagogue for day school. He participated in daily life of the people in the village. He studied the Old Testament, he learned Aramaic, Hebrew and Greek, studied ancient manuscripts, preparing him for his later role as the Christ, the World Teacher.

The Holy Family were Essenes, an ascentic sect who performed miraculous healings. Nazareth was n the route of many passing caravans from the East. Often Jesus would meet these travelers and converse with them.

And when Jesus was twelve years old, the Family went up to Jerusalem & when returning to Nazareth they found the child was not with them. They found Jesus in the Temples sitting in the idst of the doctors & rabbis & teachers & answering their questions. And they all heard him & were astonished at his understanding.” Luke 1:42-52.

We know Jesus is part of the Hierarchy. His work is with the religions of the World. We know the Christ (Maitreya, the Pisces & Aquarius World Teacher) is an Archangel from Sirius, who “entered” into the body of Jesus, when Jesus was 30 years of age, at the River Jordon. (to be continued)
