Scorpio moon – Mars in Gemini trines Saturn in Aquarius.
We have a tremendous ability to work & move forward.
But we are held back a bit with the Mercury retrograde in Virgo.
Sun & Mercury in Libra. Tonight Venus enters Libra.
Home again. Venus is the personality building ruler of Libra.
Venus is what gives Libra its beauty, harmony, balance.

To Live Well
To live well in life, one cultivates virtues.
Without virtues, intelligence is empty.
Intelligence alone creates selfishness.
Unless virtues are joined with intelligence.
Then humanity becomes able to serve.
without virtues we are unprotected.

Virtues protect the one who joins intelligence w/ virtue.
Those who loo for intelligence & fame but do not have virtue
one can become violent, aggressive & raja-istic.
Latent & subtle compulsions arise when there is no virtue.
Communism, socialism are examples of an aggressive cold intelligence w/ no virtue & no love. The result is the cultivation of dry leaves, which can quickly catch fire.

The work of the Disciple follows the path of Truth w/ intelligence, love & virtue. Disciples are not tinged with propaganda, judgment, opinion, extremist – all which create separations.

Disciples live as inner consciousness in the Antakarana, helping people around them, know the Plan, live in the Divine, & work silently. virtue ability gentle expression of work, living in depth.

October will be a big month for humanity & for the US. On the 8th Pluto stations direct (the transformation proceeds forward), on the 9th full moon festival (it’s also Sukkot, Jewish festival), Saturn direct on 22nd, solar eclipse new moon Scorpio, 25th, on 30th Mars retrogrades 25 Gemini till January 11th, when Mars stations direct.

We continue to need funds…as we will have to find a home for Matthew & pay the rent as there seems to be no one who can offer a home for Matthew. Santa Cruz is the 2nd highest rent in the United States, following San Francisco. The 2nd highest!

I called Emergency Housing for the Disabled….the director said there is NO money, NO vouchers, NO housing for the disabled & nothing available for emergencies, now or in the future. Dead end. That was the last place to call after all the Skilled Nursing places.
So we are doing our best each day with this information.
The only place to turn to is prayer. So….praying. love, Risa

having completed our tasks. Death then is an interval.

Today is Tuesday – Libra Sun, Mercury, Venus.
A v/c begins at 9:21am till 4:15pm (west coast time), when the moon enters Scorpio. Tonight Mars trines Saturn (Gemini/Aquarius).

Rosh Hashanah continues till the first star is seen in the evening sky. Then we begin our 10 days of Atonement. Till Yom Kippur. More on this as the days unfold.

We are in our 2nd day of the Festival of Durga – the blessings of the Mother offered to us. She unveils her vitrues & offers them to us. Today the color is red, the color of roses. We wear red today.

We had a Geomagnetic storm yesterday & the field is unsettled today. We are careful today.

Rosh Hashanah, Jewish New Year.
And the Durga Festival – The Indian Festival of the Mother with her nine veils…each a different color, each a blessing for humanity. The Mother uncovering our nine veils to appear to humanity in all her virtues & blessings.
The colors for each day. We can wear these colors too. Understanding their symbolism.
White, red, blue yellow, green, grey, orange, peacock colors, pink/violet. On the 10th day, we dress in gold.

Jupiter to Pallas Athena (knowledge to intuition).
Knowledge is the fire that absorbs into it all surroundings.
And knowledge of the self/Self. Unwavering bliss comes from true knowledge. Then one has the ability & strength to serve the need. Knowledge is the alphabet that allows us to write. Then we are able to serve. Without knowledge there is confusion & chaos. Diving realization happen onto to those who have kind hearts.
Aspirations develop a king heart, kind understanding of others.
We place ourselves in the position of other.
This cultivates sympathy, a kind heart, compassion.
This is a path that disciples walk when following specific rules. Loving Understanding gradually become Love. Loving Understanding is subtle. It is Oneness. From knowledge to understanding to service to compassion to love to bliss. This is the path of the disciple.
Lead us from knowledge to bliss, from strength to service, from sympathy to realization, love to oneness. Om
