But Gratitude as an “event” each moment.

Not asking for anything.
But Grateful for everything.

Menu for Thanksgiving Dinner.
Smoked Turkey; sausage/sage/apple stuffing; mashed potatoes; cole slaw; cranberry sauce; peas; apple cranberry pie.

Recipes
Dressing or Stuffing?
Dressing is baked in a buttered baking dish.
Stuffing is “stuffed” inside a turkey or chicken.
I make a Dressing.
A long time ago at a dinner party, I ate a delicious savory somewhat sweet stuffing made with corn bread & in the years since I have tried to recreate that taste. I am still trying.
So I make a cornbread, with different amounts of sugar or maple syrup or different additions of flours & herbs. I always include almond flour to what I bake. I also always use Einkorn flour, a pale yellow original wheat grain from Europe. I bake the corn bread a day before Thanksgiving for the stuffing. Here is a simple stuffing or dressing recipe.

CORN BREAD (Southern style)
Oven 350 (preheat)
The secret to Southern cornbread is to heat the butter (or lard, or coconut oil) first in a skillet. Then add the next ingredients & mix together.
– Heat in a skillet on the stove
1/2 cup butter (lard, coconut oil, or mixture).
– melt butter in skillet. Turn off heat.
Add 1/3 – 2/3 cup white sugar (I used 1/3). Mix.
Add 2 large whipped eggs. Mix.
In a bowl place 1 cup buttermilk w/ 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Mix. Add to skillet.
Add in 1 cup cornmeal & 1 cup all-purpose flour & ¼ teaspoon salt Mix till no lumps.
Bake in 8 inch buttered square pan, or round pie dish.
Oven 350 degrees. 30 – 40 minutes baked in the oven.
Cool.

Dressing/Stuffing Recipe
(no specific amounts)
– Saute in olive oil & butter the following – sausage, grass fed ground beef, onion, celery, bell pepper, salt & pepper, sage & thyme. Add a bunch of parsley leaves.
Cool & place in large bowl.
Add crumbled cornbread, 2 eggs, chopped apples, roasted pecans, dried cranberries or raisins, chicken stock, melted butter. Mix gently. Bake in a buttered dish for an hour at 350 degrees (preheated oven – oven takes 15 minutes to preheat).

Cranberry relish
– In a sauce pan – place a bag of frozen cranberries, 1/3 – 1/2 cups sugar or less, orange juice from tangerines or oranges (1-2). (Note: can add chopped apples, too)
Add a pinch of salt (to alkanize). Cook gently till cranberries thicken. Taste. Cool. Serve in a silver or crystal bowl.
With a silver spoon.

In between writing at my desk overlooking an elderberry tree & a meadow & the many birds that fly into the tree, I am more & more often in the kitchen preparing food. When I do so I think of preparing food for a great & large community, an Ashram, a village. I might begin to add more & more food ideas, thoughts & recipes to my posts. And my mind is on two things….
1. our sojourn with the Sagittarius Teachers for the month….
2. & food, a subject close to the heart of Sagittarians/Sagittarius.
All disciples need nourishment.

We are disciples in Sagittarius, having been given that choice in Scorpio.
Today – We shifted from Scorpio warrior-ship, a triumphant battle – to Sagittarius & it’s goals – also to archery, justice & journeys, horses flying thru meadows, eyes on the Capricorn’s mountaintops & the Sound of Silence.

Sabbath – Day of Rest & of Praise.
Completion of work, day of rest for the Soul.
“And on the 7th day, God rested, having completed
His Creation (His Creative Work.”

The Law given to the people to rest.
“Remember the Sabbath (rest) day and keep it holy” (Exodus 20:8-10).
“And remember to love the Lord your God with all your heart, & with all your mind & with all your Soul.” (Mark 2:27-28).

The call of Discipleship in order to later Save the World.

Sunday (the Sun’s day) as the Sabbath – Hebrew -“to rest.”
“Remember & honor & respect the Sabbath (day of rest).”
3rd Commandment.
This is the 3rd Commandment in the Ten Commandments.
The Laws given to Moses for the ways to live in the Aries Age.
The Israelites has left Egypt (Taurus Age, Golden calf, etc.) & were in their 40 year pilgrimage (purification from servitude, from matter, from a mind set as servants) in the Sinai desert walking from Egypt (Taurus Age) to Canaan (Aries Age).

Moses was given the Ten Commandments so the people would know how to live in the Age of Aries. Aries is thus known as the Age of the Law. The “lifewave/race Spirit that directed & guided the Hebrew people was Jehovah which is Saturn.
The Commandment to “rest” one day of the week, the Sabbath day was so the people could keep one day holy with their thoughts and actions, contemplating upon God’s creation (the magical world all around them).

The day was to be set aside as a day of rest from daily work in order to be in thoughtful meditation & contemplation each 7th day (for the Hebrew, the 7th day was Saturday, which reflected Saturn) & each 7th year (every 7 years Saturn is involved in a square, which means a change of direction is to take place). For the Jewish people, the Saturday Sabbath is also a remembrance of the release from servitude in Egypt (Taurus). It is also the day that God said He rested after his “magical” creation.

As the eons of time passed, we shifted into the Pisces Age (religion, churches built, vision of a greater reality, heaven, above the earth plane that, thru devotion could be reached) & the day of Sabbath (Saturday, Saturn’s day) moved to Sunday (the Sun’s Day), reflecting no longer Saturn but the Sun.
God was then seen as the Sun which upheld creation. Sunday thus is the day when God rested after his creation, but that God was the Sun & the Eucharist (round host or bread that reflects the shape of the Sun, given as a sacrament in the Christian/Catholic church).

As The Ten Commandments were given to humanity for the Aries Age (how to be in the new Age – the offering of the new Laws), the Age of Pisces was under the Law of Love (the first time it was anchored on Earth via Sirius, & via the Archangel from Sirius, the Christ – a job description). In the Age of Aquarius, what is given to humanity are the New Aquarian Laws & Principles. Each new age adds onto the previous ages laws given to humanity. Understanding of these things is of great importance for disciples & for those seeking discipleship – the Scorpio Call.
And for those in training to become Shamballa Warriors.

On Sunday’s we contemplate these things – we contemplate the miracle of creation, the six days of creation, the seventh day of rest (note the 7th day of Creation is not completed yet). We contemplate the past week, the week ahead. And we offer gratitude to the Lord as we offer gifts of mercy to one another.

What we are living in in a magical creation. Magic is a coded work. The White Magician Healers in the Commons understand all of this. Risa
