Disciples at the mountain top together under the Midnight Sun.
“Lost are in in Light Supernal.”
In the sky – Ursid meteor showers.
The radiant emanating from the Big Dipper.
Sirius B can be seen next to the bright star Sirius!
This is most unusual!
Night Light News is named after Sirius B.
Two bright lights in the heavnes – Jupiter brings in the night, Venus brings in the morning.
The heavens & the Earth – like Father & Mother.
They are our Teachers. Earth is our Temple School.

About Sirius
Sirius is white to blue-white in color, sometimes called a rainbow star, as it often flickers with many colors. The flickering colors are easy to notice when Sirius is low in the sky – Orion’s belt points to Sirius, below left.
The brightness, twinkling and color changes os Sirius sometime prompt people to report Sirius as a UFO! These changes are what happens when such a bright star as Sirius shines through the blanket of Earth’s atmosphere. The varying density and temperature of Earth’s air affect starlight, especially when we’re seeing the star low in the sky.

The shimmering and color changes happen for other stars, too, but these effects are more noticeable for Sirius because Sirius is so bright. (from SkyEArth news).

Sirius is where the Archangel Christ came from. Sirius is Ray 2 where Love originates. It is the home of the Blue Lodge & the Hierarchy. A line of Light from Earth to Venus to Jupiter to the Sun to the Sun of Sirius. After our schooling is completed on Earth, we have choices as to where we might want to go next. Winter Solstice – the Sun Turns Northward.
Light Over Darkness & a Litany of Promises.
Our solstice day today.
Time for rest, reflection, pause & quiet.
The solstice guides us to Christmas day, a holy birth (of a new light) & into the new year.

Today, Thursday, December 21, 2023.
The shortest day of light, the longest night of darkness…(northern hemisphere).
Tonight at 7:27pm (west coast time),the Sun enters Capricorn & it’s winter solstice!

The Astrology
It’s a complex day today in the heavens as we move towards the Solstice time.
Venus/Uranus – Mars/uranus – Mercury/Saturn.
Moon in Aries, then a 3 minutes v/c. Then Moon in Taurus (6:50pm, west coast time).
Sag Sun, then Capricorn Sun.
We shift from Rays 4, 5, 6 to Rays 1, 3, 7.
Note from the even love Rays to the knowledge Rays.

The Body Electric
As the Sun is at the southern most position, Tropic of Capricorn, the Sun seed in our bodies is at the solar plexus (a “manger” in our body temple). As the Sun begins its movement northward, after three days of stillness, the Sun seed within our bodies also move upward – to reach the heart at spring equinox (equator on earth & in our bodies). At summer the Sun seed reaches the pineal gland, connecting with the pituitary gland, in the 3rd ventrical (another manger in our bodies, the holy place of spiritual conception – a spark of light can be seen when the two meet – pineal & pituitary – this is the divine conception & marriage bed for the Holy Child – the Soul).

As the Sun circuits thru its many stages – upward path, downward path & upward again each year, our bodies are electrified with a new life, new radiance & we are given the power of eternal youth (spiritual metaphor). For those who walk the Path of Light are filled with a rare & radiant light. This is the light that moves over land & sea.

Light Over Darkness
Winter Solstice – the season in which the Sun — the light
and life of the world — enters upon rebirth, and returns to conquer darkness and death.
Returning each year as a holy child – the Light Bringer.
Winter Solstice – the secret and sacred life of the heavens and the earth. All Nature begins life anew at Winter Solstice.

Litany
I. I devote the spirit that is being born within me to the service of the spirit of love & to the world.

II. In this coming year I will dwell in the sanctuary of love; I will not offend against the law of love.

III. I will remember that I have not to ask for love but to offer love; that I give of my very self to the world.

IV. I forgive all. In return, I ask the spirit to be born in me this month so that I am beloved of the brotherhood of souls, and thus recognised as a Soul of Love. Risa

Darjeeling – Sacred Inlet/Outlet.
Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
Pisces (2/6) moon continues till 1:03 pm (west coast).
We have a short v/c till 2:47pm (west coast).
Then the moon enters Aries (1/7).
We remember we are in a Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Vesta & Chiron retrograde time.

Inlets/Outlets.
The cosmic energies flow into the inlets then out into different areas of the world. At each center/city is the Great Teacher.
We have begun a study of these five sacred inlets/outlets.
Visualizing creating the Venus 5 pointed star as we say the names of the different cities – Darjeeling, NYC, London, Geneva, Tokyo & Darjeeling. For weeks we gaze a photos of each of the cities. We have just begun so we are looking at photos of Darjeeling & learning about it. It is a hill station, in northeast India.
Darjeeling is known for its tea plantations. It has a Peace Pagoda and many monasteries. See the five pointed star below. Not the rays, the planets, of each of the inlets/outlets. We are also studying the names of the Ray Lords.

The word has gone out to rally all the disciples and aspirants of the world to an intensive work, and with that appeal from the Great Ones I seek to occupy myself. Everyone is needed and must go forward with hope and certainty. The hierarchy is, with concentration, working and bending every effort to make the plan a success. The New Group of World Servers are being more closely integrated, and the work they are to do is being carefully planned. In London, in New York and in Geneva are three centres of their activity, and at Darjeeling and in Tokyo there is a mustering of forces.

Earth, a Mystery School. The kingdom is a Festival!
And so…today is Monday, a new week begins –
And, all of a sudden it’s almost Solstice (this Thursday!!
Then Christmas Eve (Sunday).
At midnight, we light our white candle.
Then Christmas (Monday) – a most holy day!
~Then the last full moon of 2023 – on Tuesday, Dec. 26th.
The Solar Festival of Capricorn – at 5 degrees.
~Then the 12 days of Christmas.
~Then the new year of 2024 – an 8 year – Scorpio number.
Begun in a Mercury station!
It should be a most interesting year indeed!
~Then Feast of the Three Kings on January 8th.
~And by then we are launched into the new year of 2024.
A new liturgical (prayers & acts of the people) year begins.

So this is our last week & these are our last days of Sun in Sagittarius (Rays4, 5, 6) for 2023.
On Thursday this week – in the evening, Sun enters Capricorn
(Rays 1, 3, 7). Note the shift in the Rays from Sag to Cap.

So much happens on Solstice day (Thursday)
– it’s a complex day that day.
1. A new season begins – that of winter.
2. A new light appears in the darkness like magic!
3. We stand in our shadow and see it’s the longest shadow cast of ourselves for the year (northern hemisphere).
4. The Sun stops in its tracks at its southern-most position.
At the Tropic of Capricorn.
5. Stonehenge lights up & all the other prehistoric structures that were built to align with the sun.
Where are they? Who knows?
6. We begin the study of Right Human Relations on Solstice.
7. We join with the Hierarchy, preparing for Wesak.
8. In the night time, as if heralding the solstice are the Ursid meteor showers! All of this we can plan on and prepare for.
The kingdom (both heaven & its reflection, Earth) is like an ongoing festival! The kingdoms are festive! And humanity is invited to participate!

Today Monday – December 18, 2023
Note the Rays flowing into the Earth.
In the new art for the new Aquarian Age, we wlll paint these rays flowing into the earth – it will be the new art for the new age!

Sag Sun & Mars.
Sagittarius (4. 5. 6) Sun & Mars (6).

Each day a rainfall of colors flows through the sky, precipitating into our Earth, her kingdoms, our bodies, our hearts.
Each day a new palette of colors flows down from the Seven Rays in the Big Dipper.

Today Mercury trines Jupiter.
Mercury (4) trines Jupiter (2) – Capricorn (1, 3, 7) & Taurus (4). Trines are harmonious, uplifting.
Mercury/Jupiter (the even love rays) we speak words of kindness & love. It is a very good day today!

Questions:
How are people preparing for the solstice?
For Christmas? How are we preparing our children to know about this event that occurred 2000 years ago…an event that was a cosmic event of unparalleled significance.

 
God of Light
At each new age, a God of Light is born, appears, to save humanity from darkness, cold, famine, wars and death. The Sun at its lowest declination signifies this “death & darkness”, still as it is for three days, from Dec. 21 – midnight Dec. 25th.
The sun’s beneficent force is quiet, still for three days.
Then, midnight, Dec. 25, the Sun begins to rise again, moving towards the equator –
And the new God of Light is born for humanity.
Above in the sky is the sign of Virgo, the Mother of the world & the holy child. She is seen on the eastern horizon, brooding over the Earth & the new light.
In the west we see the belt (three stars) of Orion – the Three Magi Astrologer Kings, the Wise Men.

This was the first Holy Night then & it is repeated year after year through the power of a mysterious Star, whose rays are focused upon our planet and the entire vibratory rate is lifted and lightened. Spiritual currents pass through the Earth & into the center of the Earth, to lift & enlighten humanity. This occurs throughout the Christmas season.

Questions: Do we know these mystery teachings? Are we teaching these mysteries to our children? If so, how?

Our earth is a Mystery School.
Each sign, holding specific tasks, is sacred. The tasks too are sacred. We are gifts to each other. That’s part of the mystery!

We light our 3rd candle this evening – the Shepherd’s Candle.
The rose colored candle – the color of Joy.
The Kingdom is colorful, filled with the color of the Rays.

3rd Week of Advent
The 3rd week of Advent is dedicated to the animal & bird kingdom, dedicated to humanity & the messengers.
Light Workers, the NGWS, the Silent Watchers, light their candles for humanity. We stand quietly in the heart center of our world, our country, humanity. The place of the Soul.
Silent Watchers together.

Four days till Winter solstice.
Eight days till Christmas morning.
Fourteen days till the New Year of 2024.
Time passes.
The NGWS may be absorbing the energy of the masses.
Therefore may feel exhausted.
The NGWS are aware of tending & caring for themselves.
In order to do the task of World Salvage.
The NGWS is is therefore at all times poised & observant no matter what occurs in the theatre called the world.
World events occur & continue to accelerate.
In the Kali Yuga – where darkness is allowed to be seen.
So humanity can choose.

DIsciples stand poised, calm & observing.

Lighting the Advent Candle & the 8th Candle on the Menorah.
It’s raining and cold now & evening is soon.
It’s Friday, December 15, 2023.
The sky is dark with cold & rain.
Friday is Venus’s day, Ray 5 day.
Truth matters day.

Thinking about things.
Ten days till Christmas. And tonight is the last night of Hanukkah.
Lighting both the Advent wreath & the Menorah.
Thinking about things.
Making food in the Ashram kitchen to keep warm.
Making stock for a later soup – maybe dahl, maybe split pea, maybe boston bean soup, maybe posole, maybe albondigas – maybe not.

 

 

Spaghetti sauce simmering on the stove.
Ingredients:
(organic) Olive oil, onions, celery, bell pepper, parsley, garlic, zucchini, mushrooms, grass fed ground round in a sauce of roasted heirloom tomatoes. For the Einkorn whole wheat noodles.
Grateful for our food.

Looking ahead

Friday, today, Dec 15 is the last day of Hanukah.
Lighting our 8th candle on the menorah.

 

Sunday, Dec 17, we light our 3rd Advent Candle.
The color is rose – the candle of Joy for what is about to appear!
The upcoming Advent week is dedicated to the animal kingdom.
We add animals to our Advent wreath, joining with the minerals & the plants already on our circle of greens in between the candles.

Thursday, Dec. 21, the longest day of dark, the shortest day of light – Winter Solstice, when the new light for the new year begins. We join the Hierarchy in preparation for Wesak, 2024.
Sun enters Capricorn. We light the Yule log.
We begin the study of the Right Human Relations – one of the Aquarian Laws & Principles. We study RHR till February 21st.

Sunday, Dec. 24 is Christmas Eve, the light from the Midnight Sun streams into the earth. At midnight we light our white candle that is in the center of the Advent wreath. This is the Christ candle, the candle of the Holy Child. Some of us attend Midnight Mass.

Monday, Dec. 25 is Christmas day – birthday of the Holy Child.

Tuesday, Dec. 26 begins the 12 Days of Christmas (till Feast of the Magi – January 6th).
Last Full Moon of 2023 – Solar Festival of Capricorn – 5 degrees.
Chiron stations direct – 15.27 degrees Aries.

Saturday, Dec. 30, Jupiter stations direct 5.35 degrees Taurus.

Sunday, December 31, last day of 2023. New Year’s Eve.
Feast Day of the Holy Family, the human family unit of parents & children – represented by Mary, Joseph & the child Jesus.
They are a model of a holy family.
Our family is our first community. Families are to offer a place of protection for all family members. It is our first place of education & learning. The first place of love we experience after birth. Family is a fundamental institution of every society.

Monday, January 1 – first day of 2024.
Virgo moon. Mercury stations.
Feast Day of Mary, Mother of the World.
The Divine Mother blessing the new year and all peoples in the world.
Mercury stations direct at 22 degrees Sagittarius. Remaining in its retrograde shadow til January 20th at 6 degrees Capricorn.

The new year begins with a stationary Mercury & a Virgo moon.
Only Uranus & Vesta are retrograde.
It will be a wild & tumultuous year ahead!
