Aries moon today. Tonight, Taurus moon begins (9:45pm west coast time).
Venus/Neptune square (Sag/Pisces) today. Assessing our resources, relationships. Choosing a different path. Always with greater & greater Goodwill.

A healing occurs in our sleep tonight – Sun/Chiron trine.

Neptune
Neptune was “seen” in the sky in 1846 – the advent of spiritualism, hypnotism, anasthetics, idealism – all Neptune qualities. When we “see” something new in the heavens, it represents that something new will be revealed & cultivated within humanity.
The Lord of the 6th Ray works through Neptune (& Mars). Neptune is connected to inspiration, ideals, dreams, devotion, illusion, the highest qualities of Christ (Soul) consciousness, sacrifice & service with unconditional love. Religion (what was developed in the Pisces Age) is governed by Ray 6. (Mars is battle conflict, desires, aspirations).

Neptune flows through Pisces (2) & on inner levels, Cancer (3 & 7). One’s spiritual home – Cancer – I build a lighted house & therein dwell (words of the Soul within the body). One’s physical home is to become a center of life, light & love for its inhabitants. Like an Ashram.

Neptune is a sacred planet (it’s Lord has completed certain Initiations) & therefore it is concerned with unity among humanity.

Neptune dissolves things – things that are no longer useful. Neptune’s transits – old ideals, dreams of people & of nations) begin to die (Neptune rules Pisces – sign of endings, of crucifixion, of death & then of resurrection). A depression can fall over the people, separations, too, based on untruths & illusions. The people lose faith in leaders & the nation’s hopes & dreams. Neptune is paradoxical. Two realities emerge. Self delution & escapism & illusion & untruths emerge. And a new idealism that shapes the creation of the new era.

The USA is Sun in Cancer w/ Moon as its ruler. Moon in Aquarius. Aquarius is about freedom (which the Constitution reflects). The dream that the USA is the “land of the free” is being questioned now by masses who are entrained to believe in darkness & no longer in the Light.

Neptune has been navigating itself through Pisces waters since 2011/2012, and it will remain in Pisces until 2025/2026.
2025 is the year the Hierarchy assess the quality & timing of its precipitation, heralding the coming of the New World teacher (Christ Maitreya).
Neptune has an extremely long orbit; it takes 165 years to move through the entire zodiac, with 14-year journeys across each of the 12 signs. In 2011, Neptune entered Pisces, where it will continue drifting until 2026.
Neptune in Pisces – a period of ideological wars and revolutionary changes. Neptune was in Pisces when Rome fell. The situation in our country, USA, can be said to be the 2nd fall of the Roman Empire.

The last time Pluto was in Capricorn was during the American Revolution. Neptune was in Pisces when Rome fell (476AD).

Sagittarius Study
Centaur (half man/half horse), Rider & horse (man & horse), archer on horse w/ bow & arrow – the three developmental stages of Sagittarius.

The archer on the horse are we ourselves (humanity).
We are souls who must learn to bridle the impetuous horse
of our personality. In the state of the centaur man and animal are still one, dominated by the animal nature. When man sits riding on the horse, he is the archer fired by ambition; his aspiration is like a jumping horse which runs around wherever it wants.

Quick like an arrow, he is always busy with many things at a time and lives in continuous tension. He runs the risk to ruin his vital forces and thus become sick. His thoughts already revolve around the light and he acts with good intention.

But he has not yet committed himself to a goal and taken a task upon himself. Even if he, a leisure-time aspirant, might think he is walking the spiritual path, he has not yet set foot on it.
When we decide to commit the self to the Path of the Soul, all aspirations are directed to this high aim.

Willingly and voluntarily we then subordinate everything in life to this decision. Life circumstances and events no longer can divert us. Thus we gain stability and uphold a constant vibration in our striving towards our goals.

I may write more about Matthew’s experience yesterday, his transfer to a new facility. As the keynote of Sag is this…”Let food be sought.” Matthew’s experience with food at the new facility is not good. He said it’s sub par. Matthew is a chef. Always using organic fresh ingredients, right off the farm, using bone broths, sauces, veggies & fruits directly from the farms around Santa Cruz. The facility he is in basically houses elders & the quality of food is not the quality that nurtures & nourishes. There has to be a way found to get food to Matthew. We also need an electric wheel chair now. So he can be more independent & get around among the people. Become friends with them. Radiate his Aquarian light of friendship. The room he is in is isolating & alone. More to come as it happens….love, Risa

Notes about Matthew – which is on my mind today.
For those who know Matthew, my son, was in an accident resulting in traumatic brain injury – which has affected his ability to care for himself on all levels.
Up until today Matthew has remained in the hospital (since July 1st), slowly recovering. (Matthew is leaving the hospital today for a skilled nursing facility for further care).
Matthew needs 24/7 care & help with all his daily needs.

Matt’s Next Adventure. Chapter 154
Today is Thursday, December 1, 2022. A new month begins.
With new endeavors. Pisces (saving grace) moon today. Sagittarius (the traveler) Sun.
Matt is “traveling” to a new facility.
Matthew transitions today from Dominican Med/Surg to the Watsonville Post Acute Skilled Nursing facility.
Address is 525 Auto Center Drive. He will be leaving Dominican hospital around 1pm. Jove will be with Matthew (thank you, Jove). We pray for a smooth & careful transition.
There may be new rules to learn about, what visiting hours are, who can visit, how, when? What are the rules at this post acute center? I don’t know yet. We can all find out together. Then share with each other. Jennifer will most likely offer us direction as to what we need to know to visit & also the schedule.
Gratitude to Sarah, Laura, Jim Cole (Matt’s uncle), Jove, Jennifer, Sean (Matt’s biking friend & who owns the Commons”), Suzanne who yesterday spent the entire day with Matthew, the staff at Dominican (especially the ARU – Matt’s “family” while at Dominican).
Gratitude to everyone (friends of all capacities, abilities, sharings & good things offered)who have joined this healing journey with Matthew.

In the Night Sky
Mercury is the evening star till January 2, 2023.
Venus will be the brighter evening star beginning the night of December 3rd – Saturday evening/night.
Mars (retrograde) will join them in the night December 8th.
Jupiter, Sag’s ruler, is the brightest the night sky, continuing to March 29, 2023.

Sagittarius is the sign of direction.
The sign of the horse, the rider, the bow & arrow.
Sagittarius is a mutable fire sign.
The signs of the zodiac follow one another in an interplay of the elements fire-earth-air-water – a round dance, which is passed through three times in a year (3 x 4 = 12 signs).
In the circle of the year each sign forms an equilateral triangle with two further signs of the same element. In this the basic trinity of existence is mirrored:

Three Fires

With Aries the spiritual fire, the new life impulse emerges.
Aries is the beginning of the cycle of life & of the zodiac and corresponds with the head.

Leo represents the solar or soul fire; it is the energy of the heart, which makes us feel inner relatedness.

Sagittarius stands for the fire within matter, fire by friction, the frictional fire, expressing itself in the field of the tension of polarities. In the physical body, Sagittarius is the area at the end
of the vertebral column, the pelvis and the thighs.

In the Eastern Wisdom teachings, the horse is a symbol of fire and life force. The movement of fire is called the movement of the horse.
Aries – the head of the horse.
Leo the body & Sagittarius the tail.
The wisdom teachings say (show) the Sun rides on a carriage with seven horses representing the seven rays – the seven qualities of life.
The seven fiery horses or lines of force penetrate the creation and the light from the source penetrates (streams down into) the deepest matter – into material manifestation. And into the hearts & minds of humanity.

In the symbolism of Sagittarius we meet horse and rider representing different developmental stages of evolution.
There is the centaur, the horse & rider, the bow & arrow.

Three levels.
Centaur is animal man. Here man begins to rise slowly above the animal through a fixed orientation. Later man becomes the riding archer on the horse – the animal nature, under control.
The arrow of his mind is concentrated on his goal, and nothing can deter him from it.

The biblical as well as the Eastern picture of the Rider on the white horse, bow & arrow in hand, symbolize the Coming One (World Teacher), who gathers His people and leads them through the battle to victory.

Advent – a study –
Something new is coming
Something is Reappearing, too.
Not only the new light of Winter Solstice, but the Reappearance of the Christ, the Coming World Teacher.
In Advent we prepare for both –

Today, November 28, 2022 – a complex day today. Aquarius moon, the new era energies are available today.
Mars Saturn trine (Gemini/Aquarius). Mars is retrograde. Inner work today is illunined.
Venus/Uranus inconjunct (5 & 7 Rays) (Sag/Taurus). Again what Ray is the say between Venus/Uranus? Ray 5 & Ray 7 work together, anchoring truth into the world. True science too, for those not tempted by the false light of the dark forces.
Tonight, we begin a long v/c tomorrow – till 4:15pm west coast time.

Advent
Season of Purification & Preparation & Illumination for what is to come.

What are we preparing for?
1. Winter Solstice, the new light for the world. New Light for the year, a higher level of light on the spiral of Time.

2. The Reappearance of the Christ – it is said in the wisdom teachings that in 2025 the Hierarchy will convene & assess the needs of humanity – at the darkest hour the Christ, the World Teacher appears. The World Teacher appears also at the beginning each new age. Therefore, in this Advent & the next few years, during Advent we are preparing for the Advent (coming) of the World Teacher for the Aquarian Age. Our prayer each day during Advent.

From Dark to Light
We are in the dark half of the year (Summer to Winter Solstices) in our northern climes). This is our last month before the lights half of the year begins (Winter Solstice to Summer solstice). In our last month of the dark half of the year, we have the ritual called Advent – “adventus” – “something is about to appear”. The “appearance” is the new light of Winter Solstice, ending the darkness of the year, beginning a new light for the year.

Mars Retrograde – Inner Work
During this dark half of the year, and especially this year, with Mars retrograde, it is a time of receive fresh revelations that favor our spiritual development. Preparations are thus made for what is hoped for when Advent ends and the new light begins, climaxing on Holy Night, when the midnight Sun is ablaze with the new light for the new year.

Light of Preparation –
Always Earth and her kingdoms are in harmony with the zodiacal influences. Advent begins in Sagittarius, the sign of the journey to the midnight Sun, the Light Supernal in Capricorn. It is the sign just prior to Winter Solstice. Sagittarius is thus called the “little Light” prior to the emergence of the Greater Light. In the religious cosmologies, this “new light for the world” was the time when the Holy Child was born.

Astrology
The Great Ones always use the timing of astrology for its appearance events. As the Winter Solstice occurs it is also the time when the heart of the Sun has penetrated deepest within the earth, the Sun at the Tropic of Capricorn.

Three Degrees of Advent
Three degrees are recognized during the four weeks of Advent:
1. Purity (of the personality vehicle);
2. Immortality (bestowed by the Soul);
3 Spiritual Illumination (male/female energies within the head interweave in the 3rd ventricle & a spark of light illuminates the brain/mind. And the entire etheric/auric field of the body becomes a temple of light.
Earth Period
This process is called “the Christ-ing (humanity aware of the soul, directed by the Soul) of humanity. Christ symbolizes the Soul of humanity. This is the culmination of the evolutionary process belonging to the present Earth period (there are seven such periods. Humanity at this time is on the fifth).

Seekers
The 1st degree symbolizes the seekers & aspiration. They are like the shepherds in the fields whereupon an angel came to and told them to look up, see a star and to follow its light, which led them to Bethlehem (House of Bread, the Bread of Life). The personality being led to the Light of the Soul.

Disciples
The 2nd degree represent disciples and the Three Wise Men Astrologer Kings who brought gifts to lay at the feet of the Holy Child. They are the Disciples who have passed 1st & 2nd degrees. Their shining gifts symbolize the illuminated essence around the physical body, the spiritualized body temple.

Initiates
The 3rd degree is the marriage fest and the “golden wedding garment” which each disciple must be clothed in before entering the inner Temple. This is also like the perfume Mary Magdalene used to wash the feet of the Christ. The revelation offered those of the 3rd degree is the understanding of the words, “I am the Way, the Truth, the Light & the Life. No one can go to the Father except through Me. I am the Light of the World. You too are to be the Light of the World with Me.”

Earth’s Protection
Archangel Michael, who took over protection of the Earth at Autumn Equinox presides over the process of purification & regeneration . From Autumn Equinox to Winter Solstice, Michael and his ministering angels are engaged in cleansing and purifying the desire & lower mental envelopes (layers) of the Earth. Without their cleansing of the layers of the earth, humanity would be submerged and eventually die due to the murky psychic atmosphere generated by evil thought, emotions, desires & deeds.

Battle
Always the angels and the Christ are doing battle with the forces of evil and darkness. The symbol for this is Archangel Michael, fiery sword in hand, slaying the dragon. Michael always stands next to the Christ in the Hierarchy of Light.

The ancient & ever-present battle humanity faces is the light over the darkness & this is symbolized each year as the Sun passes through the dark half of the year – from Autumn Solstice to Winter Solstice, where the Light wins out over the darkness for the year. At Winter solstice, Michael’s work is done & he passes the protection of the Earth over to Archangel Gabriel, the messenger of motherhood, the guardian of mothers and children. Note the Holy Child is born under his direction and supervision.

This is a cosmic process. It is a harmonious rhythmic enunciation of the Word through Creation. The Word sounds forth at midnight Holy Night. It resounds through all of the Earth, making all things new again. All of this begins on the first night of Advent.

Lighting our first Advent candle each evening. Violet this week for hope. And seeing the Light in the mineral kingdom. In the shells, crystals, stones, soil, earth itself. Love. Risa
