Equinox – May equilibrium prevail.
Today, September 22, 2026 – Tuesday, Mars (Ray 6) day, action day!
Later today, the Sun’s Ray, its light, settles itself at the equinox & enters Libra, (Ray 3), the intelligence sign of balance & harmony (& choice). It’s Venus’s sign too!

In northern latitudes it is the Autumn equinox – (occurring in the US – 5:05pm PT, 7:05pm central, 8:05pm east coast) –
At the equinox time, we find ourselves outside, standing straight up, bare feet on the earth.
As the Sun is at the equator, balancing light & dark, it is also a time of balancing & harmonizing for each of us & earth’s kingdoms.
For Earth, the solstices & equinoxes are times of Initiation.

Equinox – Visualization
The solar (Sun) principle in man is the principle of liberation and it is located in the head-centre. It permeates vertically from Sahasrara to Muladhara as a brilliant, diamantine white ray.
On an Equinox day the solar ray passes across the equator.
Since man is a vertical being on Earth, the ray passes over his head from East to West, if on the equator.
In man from head to tail, from Sahasrara to Muladhara the
Sun ray passes over dividing the left and right.

We imagine ourselves to be on the equator on Equinox day at the time of the equinox.
On Equinox day we visualize & experience the vertical white light (Sun ray) in the vertical column (Sushumna).
Such visualization and experience enables a student to synthesize spirit and matter within the self.
This is possible because of the Sun ray passing over the equator.

The equinox sun ray light moves up & down the spinal column – From Muladhara to Sahasrara and from Sahasrara to
Muladhara – the diamantine diamond light of the solar ray is visualized.
And simultaneously, we recite the mantra
“Equator light, diamond light – Equal, balanced & harmonized”.

Such visualization is easier on the Equinox days.
The inner Self, the Soul exists in the column of Shushumna from head to tail as cerebra-spinal energy in the form of a mace.
The Sushumna itself is brilliant and the solar ray that is meditated upon as within on Equinox day reinforces the brilliance.

The Sushumna is the innermost abode of man as a Soul,
Surrounded by a ‘brilliant bluish white ray’ and further surrounded by a ‘golden hue’.
This visualization is for Equinox days – Initiation day for Earth. The solar ray divides the Northern and Southern hemispheres equally and for man, being a vertical being, the ray passes from the top of the head to the tip of the vertebra.
It causes equalization of forces within – an equilibrium within.

The day of the Equinox is the day of Yoga (spiritual balancing),. Disciples are in contemplation & meditation.

The Equals on Equinox Day.
Equinox prayer of balance & of equipoise.
Equator equal
Male-Female equal
Spirit and Matter equal
Right and Left equal
Day and Night equal
Obverse and Reverse equal
Opposite angles are equal
Heart mind balanced.

May ardent aspirants gain as much Golden and Diamantine hue as is aspired. May equilibrium prevail. May justice prevail.
