Summer Solstice & Father’s Day.
Summer has begun, with Sun entering Cancer & it’s also Father’s day today, Sunday, June 21, 2026.
Sun in Cancer – sign of nurturing & nourishing everything and everyone in the world around us.
Tending to self, too, first & foremost.

Summer Solstice – the high point of our solar year, when nature is at perfection. The magical transformation of hard brown seeds into flower and color has culminated.

The solstices and equinoxes tell us a story about light four times a year.

Light pierced the heart of matter (the core of the Earth) during Winter Solstice, when Earth was in darkness.
At Spring Equinox, the light rose from the core of the Earth and touched the roots with a globe of fire.
Now, at Summer Solstice, there is a powerful radiation of released light in plants and trees. Their waving about is actually a movement of ecstasy. Earth in a state of joy and well-being.

Angelic beings, fairies, and devas can be contacted more easily and intimately at this time (summer).

Summer Solstice marks the time when their great work of mixing and weaving fragrance & color, light, and sound to produce chlorophyll in plants is complete.

In the etheric realms, fairy (devas) dancing and feasting takes place in fields and meadows everywhere in northern latitudes.

Summer is under the guardianship of the Archangel Uriel, the constellation Cancer, and Sirius, the blue-white star that stimulates the power of beauty, of love & of intelligence.
The World Teacher is from Sirius.

Father’s Day – the Father’s brain is different than the mother’s brain. Father’s tasks are different than mother’s tasks.
The years the child looks to the Father is ages 7 – 13 (the child with the mother is ages 0-7). After age 13, the child then cleaves to his peer group, having left the influence of the parents. Knowing this is most important for parents and teachers to comprehend.

“Honour thy father and thy mother”is the 5th commandment of the Ten Commandments in the Hebrew Bible.

Fathers, like mothers, are pillars in the development of a child’s emotional well-being. Children look to their fathers to lay down the rules and enforce them. They also look to their fathers to provide a feeling of security, both physical and emotional.

Fathers are central to the emotional & intelligent well-being of their children; they are capable caretakers and disciplinarians.

Fathers are called to offer their children & family humor, delight, security, clarity, kindness, attention to detail, discipline, patience, awareness, the ability to see what needs to be done. Fathers are sensitive, supportive, comforting & accepting, responsible & available. A big job, indeed!
Happy Father’s Day to our fathers in our families.
And to our Father in Heaven. love, Risa 💚
