And the mountain, Mt. Sinai, burst into bloom.
Jewish Festival – Understanding our Jewish roots as a people of the world – Shavuot – the Spring Harvest, the Torah & Ten Commandments given to Moses – Today is Thursday, May 21, 2026 – Jupiter’s day.
Reappearance Meditation fsy & the Jewish Festival of Sha-vu-ot (how to pronounce the festival). Shavuot is a harvest as well as a remembrance of being pilgrims led by Moses (Aries Teacher) & receiving the Torah in the Sinai desert festival.
The Astrology Today –
Gemini (words, communication) Sun, Mercury & Uranus also in Gemini. For the Jewish people, the Torah/Ten Commandments were the new rules given to them, the new laws & teachings & principles for them to follow in the new Age of Aries (Age of the Law).
The Jews left Egypt on the fifteenth day of the Hebrew month of Nisan. Seven weeks later, they stood at the foot of Mount Sinai and received the Torah. Shavuos commemorates the revelation at Sinai and the giving of the Torah (Laws of the Age of Aries).
A one day Festival – but two days in the Diaspora (outside of Israel) & 7 weeks after Passover (leaving Egypt).
Bursting w/ Flowers & Beauty –
It is an ancient, joyous tradition to decorate synagogues, Torah arks, and homes with fresh flowers, plants, and fragrant greenery during Shavuot. The Meaning: Rabbis explain that this blossoming symbolizes how Heaven and earth connected, turning a desolate desert into a place of life, renewal, and beauty.
According to Abrahamic traditions, Mount Sinai (also called Mount Horeb) is the sacred site where the prophet Moses encountered the burning bush and where God delivered the Ten Commandments and the broader Law to the Israelites after their exodus from Egypt.
Leo moon today. Venus in Cancer up in the sky with Jupiter.
Tonight & tomorrow, Venus squares Neptune. Our intelligence is either clouded or it is refined with truths.
Tonight’s Festival of Shavuot (begins at sunset) –
The first spring from the garden festival.
This is the Jewish Festival that became the Christian Pentecost – as Shavuot is 50 days after the Jewish Passover.
And as each Age reveals the secrets of the previous age in the religion offered to humanity, the Piscean Pentecost is a more expanded level & reflection of the Aries Jewish Old Testament Shavuot. Each new age reveals new teachings to humanity along with new rules, laws & principles & religions.
So…in our Age of Pisces (0AD – 2,500AD), moving into Aquarius (2,500 AD – 5000 AD), we acknowledge what came before this time (2026 AD). And celebrate our religious history with our brothers & sisters in all the Ages before.
Humanity’s real history is the religions given to humanity through the Ages – each age 2,500 years long. Each Age a World Teacher appears.
The Aries Age Jewish religion (2,500 BC – 0AD), the Old Testament teachings (Torah & the 10 Commandments –
Note: I noticed NO ONE answers my questions about the Torah & the 10 commandments. No one answered. It makes me feel like what I am writing here has no meaning. Anyway….I will keep writing & asking questions.
Today, Shavuot – the Jewish Festival that celebrates the giving of the 10 Commandments to Moses for the Jewish people. Given at the beginning of the Age of Aries (2500 BC). Given to the Jewish people as they left Egypt (having experienced slavery) & the Age of Taurus (Golden Calf religion) & began their life in the desert for 40 years, inaugurating the Age of Aries (Age of the Law). In this 40 years of walking in the desert, the Jewish people became a nation, free & no longer in slavery.
Shavuot is the Festival of First Fruits in the spring summer. The fruits were taken to the temple in praise of God who gave the Israelites everything (manna, teachings, guidance, etc.) in their long walk from Egypt/Taurus Age to Canaan/Israel/Aries Age.
Celebrating Shavuot.
1. All night being awake to study the Torah in order to understand the Laws.
2. Observers traditionally wear white clothing & eat dairy foods such as cheesecake, cheese blintzes, and blintzes.
This custom (white clothing, dairy foods) symbolize the purity of the Torah and its laws that guide the people.
It is also a nod to the kosher laws the Israelites received when the Torah was given.
3. ***Reading the Book of Ruth: During synagogue services, the Book of Ruth is read, which connects the spring harvest season and the story of Ruth’s acceptance of Judaism.
4. In the Synagogue: The Ten Commandments are read aloud in synagogues, and many synagogues and homes are decorated with fresh flowers and greenery to represent the blossoming of Mount Sinai during the revelation.
God’s will was expressly communicated to human beings. It also marked the transition of the ancient Israelites into a religious community bound by covenant into a mutual relationship with God.
***Who is Ruth in the Bible?
That we would read about her on Shavuot?
Ruth in the Bible is a Moabite woman and the central figure of the Book of Ruth. Widowed without children, she famously left her homeland to join the Israelite people. By pledging her loyalty to her mother-in-law, Naomi, and accepting the God of Israel, she is widely revered as the quintessential convert to Judaism.
Learning our history together each day.
Applying it to our world now. Sharing with our brothers & sisters. love, Risa 💚💐
