Today – So many celebrations festivities today.
Monday, February 2, 2026 – Ray 4 day, the people’s day.
The color is a golden yellow, saffron yellow.
What are the celebrations/festivals today?

1. Cross Quarter day – day between winter & spring. We are on our way to Spring now!

2. Candlemas day (40th day after Christmas) – in the Christian/Catholic church – the Christmas/Epiphany season ends – our Christmas tree becomes a Valentine’s tree.
Candles are taken to Mass (to church) to be blessed by the priest & used for the rest of the year. The candles, when lit, remind us of the Christ who said, “I am the Light of the World. And (to His Disciples, you too are to be the Light of the World with Me.” Disciples respond to this invitation.

3. Baptism Initiation – the Holy Child Jesus presented in the Temple & baptized. The Teachings of the Christ (who overshadowed Jesus at age 30), are the ancient wisdom teachings about Initiation (ever expanding states of awareness). The steps towards & upon the Pathway of Light, the 7 Initiations, & the Path – the Evolutionary Arc of return to Spirit, the Father’s house. – Baptism (first water, then later fire), the first Initiation, welcoming disciples to the Path of Light (to the church) is the Baptism Initiation. Thus the holy child is baptized today, 40 days after his holy birth (Christmas, Winter Solstice).
Everything biblical mythological religious, everything happening on earth & in the heavens – astrology – everything is a symbol to be unveiled by humanity, the Thinker.

4. Mary, the mother of the holy child, also in the temple, offered to be bathed in the purifying waters, a Jewish ritual for new mothers, the bath is called a Mikvah – the symbol – purification. Upliftment of the feminine in the holy waters.

5. St. Brigid’s 2nd day – the saint & healer of eyes. We bake our scones & breads & cakes today. St. Brigid, patron saint of farmers & dairies, would walk the countryside in ancient times & the households would leave an oaten bread or cake for her nourishment. The breads & cakes are also brought to the church to be blessed & to feed the poor.

6. Jewish Arbor Day (which began at sunset last night). Planting our spring seeds. One of our students will plant 90 sweet pea seeds today for a flowering sweet pea bower for people to walk under in springtime. We will plant those seeds too today for spring. We eat fruits today too, fruit tarts, fresh fruits, etc. In praise & gratitude to God who provides humanity with the fruits of the Earth. Anniversary of the Trees – Jewish Arbor Day.

7. Groundhog day – will winter last in our northern hemisphere?

Aquarius Sun Mercury Venus Mars Pluto.
Leo moon, then a v/c moon, then Virgo moon (7:21pm tonight).
Uranus in Taurus stations direct tomorrow evening at 27 Taurus.
