Open Dialogue Furthers Tolerance.
Treating those we disagree with, with respect & dignity.
Tolerance is a virtue that allows for peace to come forth.

Today – Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Sunday in the Ashram Kitchen.
Preparing for the upcoming week.
Sun Jupiter today – Ray 2 day. Love/wisdom day.
Scorpio/Cancer – Sun trine (harmonious) Jupiter.
The only transit today. With moon in Libra (more harmony).
Jupiter in Cancer – happy in the kitchen.
When I’m not writing, I am in the kitchen cooking.
I used to have a restaurant with my friend, Jane.
It was called Indian Summer – we served macrobiotic foods, had daily soups, brown rice w/ sauces, salads, sandwiches, fresh juices, & a vegetarian dish. Everything was organic, fresh picked, from the farms around town.
We were closed Sundays to allow everyone & everything in the kitchen to rest. I think of those days in the kitchen at Indian Summer in Santa Cruz. And so….

Today in the Ashram Kitchen.
Juicing fresh juice in the Omega juicer.
Celery, cucumber, beet, carrot, parsley, apple, lemon, kale (forgot the ginger).
Roasting pumpkin seeds on the stove.
Roasting pecans in the oven, 200 degrees F.
Will bake chicken thighs later for chicken pot pie (later in the week).
Making layered enchiladas today – casserole.
Polenta in the oven to top enchilada casserole.

Recipe: Enchiladas (layered).
Enchilada sauce, cut up corn tortillas, at bottom of casserole dish.
Add in layers – cooked chicken or ground beef (spiced w/ cumin, chile powder, taco seasoning, oregano, onion powder, garlic granules), black beans, corn, chopped onions, carrots, kale, bell peppers, jalapenos, lots of cilantro (including stems). Top with more cut up corn tortillas, polenta & cheddar or jalapeno cheese. Pour more enchilada sauce all over. Bake 350, 1 hour (uncovered).
Serve w/ sliced radishes, cabbage, cilantro, avocados & sour cream.

For Thanksgiving – I am thinking ahead to Thanksgiving & what I will need – I will make a strudel that my mother made – poppyseed strudel & walnut strudel. I am thinking about Thanksgiving now – which is 11 days away. Looking for my sweet bread dough recipe. And if I have enough nuts & poppyseeds.

The ability & willingness to allow for the existence of opinions, ideas that one does not necessarily agree with.

Interesting. I just received a message this morning that a long time reader (25 years) is deleting a link to me due to what they perceive as my political leanings.
So sad a commentary. It makes me sad to read their words – Politics is an outer reality that comes & goes.
But the real messages from my writings are the sharing of the inner sacred teachings – astrological & ageless wisdom teachings. These never change.
It pierces my heart when people write these things to me.
Their emotional reactive thinking (intolerance) closing the door to the astrology & the Wisdom Teachings.
It will open again for them with someone else, some day.
