Prayers for our country tonight.
Mary, the Mother of Jesus. is the patroness of the Americas.
We pray to her.

Mary, please pray for us, the people and our country.
Mary, Immaculate Virgin, our Mother, Patroness of our land, we praise you and honor you and give our country and ourselves to you, for we are in sorrow in our land. O Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, pierced by the sword of sorrow prophesied by Simeon, save us from degeneration, killings, anger, rage, violence, untruths, wars and disaster. Mary, please protect us from harm.

We pray for the light to shine in dark places and for the end of corruption in America.

Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.

2 Chronicles 7:14 “If my people, who are called by my name, will pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive heal their land.”

1 Timothy 2:1-2 I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— 2 for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness.
