Also of testing. The 9 tests of Scorpio.
Mars rules the development of courage, which means “from the heart of the matter.”
Mars is Ray 6 – vision, hope, wishes, courage, & one of the Rays of both Pisces & Virgo.
The color of the day under Ray 6 is sky & turquoise blue.
Perfectly in line with Courage is our moon today – that of Aries.

It takes courage to know the self (personality).
And to know there is a Soul.
It takes courage to stand up for one’s morals, ethics, values.
But first we need to know what they are.
Then overtime, we cultivate courage.
It takes courage to make spiritual decisions and to abide by them; it takes courage to adjust our lives – daily and in all relations – to the need of the hour and to the service of mankind; it takes courage to demonstrate to those around us that the present world crisis is of importance to us, more than the small affairs of our individual lives.
It takes courage to discard the alibis which have prevented us from participating in the all-out efforts and activities of the Hierarchy, inner world government.
It takes courage to make sacrifices, to ignore frailties which may be present, the tiredness incident to a long life, the physical tendencies which handicap and limit our service, the sleeplessness which comes from world pressures or from an unskillfully regulated life program, and the nervousness and strain which are the common lot today.
It takes courage to live life on behalf of others, and set aside our own wishes when a need arises.

It takes courage to function as a server and disciple as it brings about a refocusing of all the forces of the personality and the soul (in unison); lifting the personality to the Soul, lifting the personality/ individualization to a higher turn of the spiral, with full conscious cooperation.

It takes courage to refocus.
This refocusing brings its own difficulties. It leads often to an awareness of one’s own nature, one’s aims, one’s life theme, one’s aspirations and one’s handicaps.

The soul appears so great that the disciple at times refuses cooperation for fear of failure or from undue consciousness of himself; excuses for non-service, at time thinking the demands of the Master and the program of the Ashram with which the disciple is affiliated are unreasonable. It takes courage to be a Soul infused personality. It takes courage to be a Disciple.
