Psalm 148 – there is a Jewish New Moon Festival done each month at the new moon – a festival of gratitude for the cycles of life that we see & understand by the cycles of the Moon. The Jewish people followed the lunar calendar. Their G-d was Jehovah which is Saturn.

The Jewish people’s day of rest is Saturday – Saturn’s day. In their acknowledging the new moon, there is an acknowledgment of the celestial orchestration of the heavens which influences the Earth & her people.

A Jewish blessing at the new moon – blessing G-d at the new moon, seeing the new moon as a Divine Presence.
Benediction & praise to G-d who renews us (humanity) each day, each week, each month under the Sun, moon, stars & the heavens.

So, once a month, Jews open their prayer books to speak of the moon. Upon seeing the soft, mellow light of the moon born again in the night sky, we recite a special blessing and verses of praise called the Sanctification of the Moon, or kiddush levana (Heb. קידוש לבנה).
