Yesterday I wrote about the zodiacal seed thoughts. What they are, what they do, why we use them as esoteric students & disciples.
I ended my post with the Cancer Seed Thoughts – personality & Soul seed thoughts. Today I am going to write about them.

We are under the light of Cancer, the 4th sign of the zodiac, one of the two Gates.

1. The Cancer building-the-personality seed thought –
“Let isolation be the rule – even in a crowd.”
At first (as spirits in the world of form, living on Earth) we are simply a personality (physical body, emotions, lower mind). This personality is experiencing the world of form & matter.

There comes a lifetime when we have exhausted all experiences in form & matter as a PERSONALITY (physical body, emotions, lower mind, a triangle of energies & NOT A PRINCIPLE, MADE OF THE ELEMENTS OF THE EARTH, DISSOLVING AT DEATH), and we seek to know more, to be more. We wonder what that “more” is.

What is “more” is the Soul.

When having experienced all there is to know about form & matter we eventually find ourselves quite alone & isolated. What is this we wonder?

At this time it is important to know there IS more.
However, until our lower self (personality) has made contact with the Soul, we can find ourselves alone, isolated, separate from life & others (even our families), unable to make contact or connect, and eventually we can fall into depression & despair, asking of life itself “Is this all there is to life?”

Sometimes when we experience this, in desperation, we begin to pray, to ask for help, to seek assistance and this lets the Soul (quietly waiting in the heart for this moment) know it’s time to make itself known to the personality.

2. And so the Soul quietly says this, the Seed Thought of the soul to the personality (one of the most beautiful of all seed thoughts) is…
“I will build a lighted house within you & therein dwell.”

These are startling words from the Soul as it is making contact with the personality, actually “saving” the personality from depression, despair & at times death itself.

The Soul then begins to bring light to the personality, to offer the personality direction & protection, to lead the personality to where it needs to go/be/experience/learn in order to become a vehicle of the Soul itself.
The personality (person) seeks to be real, to have purpose.
Only when under the direction of the Soul does the personality feel itself to be real.

The personality (person), when under the direction of the Soul, then feels like it has purpose.

As the Soul pours forth its light – (the Soul is connected to the heavenly realms, to the Sahasrara, to Venus) & actually radiates from the heart it’s qualities of Light, Love & Wisdom & Intelligence – the seeker, probationer, the student begins to be enveloped in light, radiating light, walking, living, breathing, living in the Light of the Soul.

Eventually becoming, a disciple under the tutelage of the Soul, what the Christ asked HIs disciples to be – the Light of the World. And this Light specific Light of Cancer, radiating out from discipes, provides unlimited light & nourishment to all forms & creatures of life itself.

And so the Soul Invocation of Cancer “I build a lighted house within the disciple & therein dwell.”

And offering the words of the Soul to the personality (see below). Offering the personality (person) its true identity (spirit in matter, overseen, protected & directed by the Soul).

Disciples identify with these words, being out in the world radiant with the knowledge of the Soul’s light.

And so now we understand the Soul’s keynote in Cancer.
“I build a lighted house (within the disciple) & therein (I) dwell.”

No more illusions, mayas, separations, distortions, confusions.
No more false identity, desperate loneliness or inability to connect. One becomes more & more identified with the Cancer Soul keynote, becoming a nourishing Light in the world.
