Ray 6 is the saint as well as the fanatic, the martyr as well as the inquisitor. The gentle as well as quick to become furious.

Devotion, single-mindedness, love, tenderness, intuition, loyalty, reverence.

Vices (unskillfulness) of Ray 6.
Selfish and jealous love, over-leaning on others, partiality, self-deception, sectarianism, superstition, prejudice, over-rapid conclusions, fiery rageful anger.

Virtues to be acquired:
Strength, self-sacrifice, purity, truth, tolerance, serenity, balance and common sense.

Ray 6 is called the ray of devotion & idealism. The one upon this ray is full of religious devotion, instincts and impulses, a poet of emotions, writer of religions books, with intense personal feeling; nothing is taken equably.

Extremes: Everything is either perfect or intolerable; friends are angels, enemies are very much the reverse; one’s view, in both cases, is formed not on the intrinsic merits but on the way the persons appeal to the emotions.
There is extreme sympathy or lack of sympathy which is shown to favorite idols, whether these be concrete or abstract.
One is is full of devotion, it may be to a person, or it may be to a cause or to a religion or a cult or to a political side.
