Thoughts to Ponder
…on the evening of the Leo Solar Festival under a Full Moon.
Safeguarding the Light.
How Light Falls to Earth.
The pattern of livingness in the heavens precipitates to earth in a way similar to falling snow. Like snow, the light just streams into earth. We can see it in light beams, shafts of light in the forest.
And so…
The task of meditating groups is to to gather this light…rending the veils (melting away is what is called rending the veils—there is always something behind the veil, another realityl) through which the light containing great truths may fall to earth and help this light to be anchored here on Earth – in order to unite humanity once more with the cosmos, each year on a higher more intelligent turn of the spiral than before.

Note: We don’t necessarily have to bring geometrical skills to our meditation in order to precipitate these patterns for this geomentric skill is the role of the deva hierarchy that cooperates with man’s thinking by converting the impulses behind his thought and emotion into geometrical force patterns.
What IS needed by each of us?
Exactitude of thought and feeling which generates geometrical precision and beauty with the assistance of nature’s inner helpers.

On a world-wide scale, as will, love and abstract intelligence (burning fires from the Three fires of Leo, Three levels of the Sun) begin to characterize humanity’s thinking, the geometry of the etheric web of the planet will change from a pattern of squares to a pattern of triangles

Light Streams Down
On this Full Moon (Leo Solar festival of light) day….disciples rise up & gather the Light….and on absorbing & holding and in assimilating this light, the disciples symbolically turns their back on the sourced light in order to transmit that light into the world, thus allowing their radiations of light to assume a concretiszed form.

From the minds & hearts of meditators…using the gathering of light & the keynotes of the signs –
Patterns of abstract light stream to down to Earth – the patterns or waves of light are rendered down or ‘spiritually reduced’ into ideas that intelligent thinkers unconsciously absorb & appropriate & apply in some area of human creativity & livingness.

A further reduction then takes place as the lighted ideas are shaped into ideals, new values and human principles. These may take the form of general welfare movements, upgraded social values, or perhaps new international declarations and treaties that would have previously been too idealistic and unworkable.
The quality of new light falling to Earth, via new/full moon times, transits of planets in signs, radiating from Hierarchy & the NGWS – must be externalized and expressed in human activity.
And thus between the heavens and the earth, disciples and discipleship groups take their stand as light bearers.

This process is perfectly described in the following words from the ancient Commentary quoted in the Alice Bailey teachings:

“The Angel of the Presence stands within the light divine – the centre and the meeting place of many forces. These forces meet and blend. They focus in the head of him who stands before the Angel. Eye to eye, and face to face, and hand to hand, they stand. Will reinforces will, and love meets love. The will-to-power merges with the will-to-love and strength with wisdom meets.
These two are one.
“From that high spot of unity, the One who is released stands forth and says:
‘I return from whence I came; from the formless to the world of form I make my way. I will to be. I will to work. I will to serve and save. I will to lift the race. I serve the Plan with will, the Whole with power’” (Esoteric Psychology 2, p. 24)

Reading Within the Words – the Cipher
The Master Hilarion writes in the book, Light on the Path: (MC, pp. 29/30)
“There is a way of reading, which is, indeed, the only one of any use .It is reading, not between the lines but within the words. In fact, it is deciphering a profound cipher.All alchemical works are written in cipher which has been used by great philosophers and poets of all time. Writing in cipher is used systematically by the adepts in life and knowledge, who, seemingly giving out their deepest wisdom, hide in the very words which frame it its actual mystery. They cannot do more.There is a law of nature which insists that a man shall read these mysteries for himself.By no other method can he obtain them.”
