Tomorrow, Autumn begins, it’s fall equinox, the Sun leaving Virgo (2/6) & entering Libra (3). The dark half of the year in our northern latitudes continues.
We are completing the Jewish High Holy Days of the New Year (Rosh Hashanah) todoy, with Yom Kippur. A new year begins in the Jewish religion. And so on days of new beginnings we remember the quote from Dune –
“Beginnings are fragile things. A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct.”
It is good therefore to begin a new year with forgiveness – offering & receiving forgiveness.

Bless me, Father, for I have sinned (been unskillful) & I ask forgiveness for all I have done that has hurt others, or hurt any of the kingdoms on Earth.”

We ask forgiveness.
And in turn…we offer forgiveness to those we feel have hurt us.

Being forgiven, we, in turn, forgive.
“Forgive me,” we ask of G-d & of all those we have hurt (consciously & unconsciously).

And with grace, love & benevolence, we say to each other….
“You too are forgiven.”
And then we see G-d has written and sealed our names in the Book of Life.
And all twelve petals of the heart unfold in happiness, in freedom & in Joy. All is forgiven & the new year (of the Soul) begins.

Last full day of Virgo – purification. The moon is v/c from 7:31am ’til 10:13am when the moon enters Aquarius.
At 3:51 Mercury sextiles Jupiter – so it is a benevolent & beneficent day today to have our names written in the Book of Life. G-d, the Father is always benevolent with His people, His creation, His sons & daughters.

Preparing for tomorrow’s fall equinox.
We slow down so we can be aware of the change of seasons.
So we can be aware of balancing all parts of our lives, harmonizing them which reflects Libra – the balancing of the scales. In our forgiveness ritual today, we note this too is a balancing of the scales. More tomorrow.
