We stand today in Confidence & Aspiration – these hold our physical body & emotions in balance, as we prepare for Wednesday’s full moon, Leo solar festival (6 degrees Leo).

Sun joins Jupiter at the full moon – a most auspicious event for humanity – Love/Wisdom streaming into the Earth.

The heavens are busy this week with meteors (Aquarid), fire balls, a summer triangle, a full moon (Leo festival), & with the triangle of Sirius, Jupiter & Leo enfolding the Earth. All indigo blue Ray 2 entering the hearts & minds of humanity.

The US chart is being affected as is the US president’s chart.
Love underlying all the events in our world. If we could only understand this, life would flow with serenity & peace.

The film Odysseus (The Odyssey by Homer) – playing out in theatres now – what is its significance?
Odyssey – written by Homer. Odyssius & also Ulysses.
Odysseus is the story of the human Soul wandering thru Earth’s kingdoms, God’s multileveled dense creation.
Ithaca is his home (heaven, place of peace). But He has wandered far from home for many many years, encountering all levels of experiences & realities. These experiences grow his personality to be strong & courageous – needed before illumination by the Soul takes place. And a new self identity.

From Cancer unconscious lost in mass unawareness, matrix of collective tribal thought.

To Leo beginning sense of self separated from the collective, beginning to be on one’s own, beginning to be aware of a personality self, learning about the self – one’s self identity.

To the awareness of have a Soul – vehicle between Spirit & personality – offering the personality Will & purpose, love/wisdom & divine intelligence.

Esoterically, the story of Odysseus is a profound spiritual allegory about the human soul’s journey: the descent into form and matter (earth), into material illusion (t’s real but it’s not real, it’s there for our experiencing, we must integrate it then go beyond it), the trials of personality, and the ultimate return to divine self-realization (heaven, the Father’s realm).

Odysseus portrays symbolically the awakened mind of man seeking after long years of battling with worldly things represented by the Trojans — to come to knowledge & regain knowledge of himself (self identity/Self, personality then Sou).

His faithful wife Penelope, standing for the higher nature, for love/wisdom & spiritual intuition, remains in the background of the whole poem as a permeating influence.

While Odysseus, as the active mentality, is fighting against obstacles and pushing onward in rapid movement, Penelope, waiting patiently at home for him to return, sits before her loom weaving and unweaving her patterns.

Odysseus not only is separated from his wife, but is an exile from his hearth and country; not only has he to keep constantly in action, but he has to find for himself the true path which leads homeward. This is our story, too.
