NIGHT LIGHT NEWS
DAILY POSTINGSFriday, October 9, 2026- 12pm
Today is Nicholas Roerich’s birthday.
The Russian painter, traveler to Shamballa & esotericist, writer w/ Helena Roerich of the Agni Yoga books, messages from Master Morya, 1st Ray Chohan.
The Roerichs were the esoteric occult teachers for the Russian people.
As Helena Blavatsky & Alice Bailey were the esoteric occult teachers for the western world – the wisdom teachings emerging from the caves of the east to the minds & hearts of the people in the west. It was time. The “messenger” from the Hierarchy for Helena B & Alice B. was Master Djwhal Khul.
For a compilation of Roerich’s paintings see the book, Messengers of Beauty.
Today is Friday, Venus’s day & Venus is retrograde.
A story about Venus retrograde. Venus rules the veins in the body. And so, at the hospital today – going in for a blood test, the flabotamist had the hardest time finding any vein suitable to draw blood. Venus rules the veins, Venus is retrograde. Astrology is everything. Astrology is the study & understanding of everything.
Astrology is the theory, symbols, philosophy & reality behind everything. This is the REAL Theory behind Everything.
Today –
Libra Sun & Moon – telling us tomorrow is the new moon in Libra.
At 17 degrees Libra. The call to balance, harmony & goodwill.
Mercury is inconjunct Saturn today – Ray 4 & Ray 3 – in Scorpio (4) / Aries (1/7). Note the rays today – what do they all offer humanity today? Who can make the sentences?
Celebrations Today.
1. US Post Office Day – • Universal Postal Union’s creation in 1874 to celebrate postal services worldwide. I had to call the post office today, my New Yorker magazine of Oct. 5th never came. Again, Venus retrograde – what we value, goes into hiding, disappears.
2. Leif Erikson Day – who reached North America centuries before Columbus, commemorating the 1825 arrival of the first organized group of Norwegian immigrants in New York.
3. World Egg Day – I often have soft boiled eggs in the morning. And when I make potato salad I steam 8 eggs with the potatoes & add them to my salad. I grew up with chickens – my grandmother had 100 chickens. Gathering eggs each morning was a task of hide & seek!
What are your stories today? What foods are you preparing today? I am baking bread. love, Risa
