Today we stand in Dedication, holding our minds steady in the Light, preparing for the Sirius/Leo Festival.

Tomorrow evening is the Sirius Festival, the Leo Festival at the time of the full moon – 19 degrees Leo/Aquarius (veiled).
The Sun is the ruler of Leo.
Leo does not flow thru any planets.
Leo flows through the three levels of the Sun.
Central Spiritual Sun, Heart of the Sun, Rays of the Sun.
Into the hearts of humanity.

Under the Light of Leo, the light of the sun.
The Sun is considered the true image of God, an image of God in the temple of the universe. We are also an image of God. We are beings of light because the ‘ONE behind us’ transmits the light through us. His light makes the souls shine. (we are Souls, we are light divine, we are will, we are love, we are perfect in our design). And the light of the soul shines through the eyes. The eyeball itself is associated with the Sun. Round, bright & shining with life.

Throughout the year, 12 different qualities pour in through the Sun. They are units of awareness of the 12 life forces. The ray of the Sun is always the same, but what it brings us differs from month to month, sign to sign. The Sun functions differently depending on which sign of the zodiac it is traveling through. The Cancer Sun is differ-ent from the Aries Sun and different from the Leo Sun. Leo is the Light of the Soul.

Leo is the Light of the Soul. I am That & That am I. The words of the Soul – fusing & blending with the personality – then we become aligned with the Will to Good, the Will to Love. Capricorn moon today – a practical day.
Leo Sun – a loving day. Jupiter is at the heart of Leo.
Which is also Regulus, both of which are Ray 2.
Regulus is Maga, Magha, Magic.
Those who see thru these words will understand them.

Mercury is in Virgo – we talk a lot with Mercury in Virgo.
We can talk about many things – detailed health things.
When Mercury is in Virgo we talk so we can understand ourselves.
Mercury (4) inconjuncts Jupiter (2). Virgo (earth) & Aries (fire).
Although the inconjunct of earth & fire may not work well together. The elements not understanding each other.
Other esoteric aspects make Virgo & Aries work well together. Mercury rules both Virgo & Aries. Who knows how?

We stand in Aspiration today. Aspiration holds & stabilizes our emotional field so we may prepare with aspiration for the full moon, the Leo Sirius Festival on Thursday.

The Festival/Leo/Sirius Festival is one of the most important spiritual festivals in the Aquarian Age for humanity. NLN this week, when posted, speaks of this festival & its importance.

Flow of Sirian Light
From the heart of Sirius (Love/Wisdom) to the heart of the Sun, to the heart of Hierarchy (Christ) to the heart of the NGWS to the hearts of men & women of Goodwill to the hearts of humanity.

7. Venus enters Leo – the value of our gifts, talents & resources. We recognize this.
8. Mars sextiles Neptune (both Ray 6) – hopes wishes, dreams, vision, dedications. Aquarius moon continues.

Update on Matthew – as of last night.
The Soup is cold – I hear a microwave somewhere!
I can’t eat this hospital food!
Update from Thursday night – August 4. Matthew is settled into his room Dominican. Begins his therapies tomorrow. He will dress in his own clothes. Laura brought him soup, but it was cold. Matthew, with his excellent hearing, heard a microwave somewhere near. He said, Laura, there’s a microwave here. Find it and warm the soup please. And Laura found it & warmed his soup. Excellent soup from Sundee.
With brain trauma, one can be very sensitive to hot/cold & very sensitive to noises. Matthew is especially sensitive to noise. I called Matthew at Dominican. 
There is a phone in Matt’s room. But he can’t pick it up. I asked for the nurse to pick up the phone & hold it for Matthew. Nurse put phone down. Matt spoke with me. He said – I’m having hallucinations, Mom. I can’t let go of the things I’m holding.
Question: Has Matthew had hallucinations at Natividad? I asked the nurse to hold the phone for Matthew so I could speak with him. Matthew began to say his Oms. Om Shanti Shanti Shanti. 
Then he said, Mom if I have any more issues I’ll call you. Matthew is very mentally alert. And so…Tomorrow I will talk to the new nurse tomorrow. Tomorrow, another day, another miracle. Risa

Update from Risa today.
In the 36 days of Matthew’s accident, we have been only able to go to town one time. Today was the 2nd time in all those day. There is nothing in the refrigerator.
So….
Going into town walking towards the car.
A copperhead appears on our path. Slithered out from the bushes & stopped right at our feet. Stopped & rested there in the sun. Nothing would move it.
Then…
Driving into town (12 miles away on dirt roads), the car got a flat tire. We drove it into town, thinking it was the muffler. Got to the tire shop & the men were at lunch. We walked into the office and the men were eating hamburgers. They told us we had to wait an hour till their lunch hour was over. 
I said “I’ll take a hamburger too.” And the owner, Danny, said, OK I’ll make you one. And 10 minutes later he brought me a hamburger, smothered with sauteed/carmellized onions on a soft sweet bug. The hamburger was bigger than the bun, & definitely hand shaped & grilled on a grill. It was heavenly. He set a root beer down beside the hamburger.

This is a small hometown tire shop. Hometown boys, home town people, hometown simple food, home town kindness. There we were eating a hamburger in a tire shop waiting for your car to be fixed. Real people, real story. Real Kindness.

Turning Towards the East, where the Light rises.
Ancient song to the Sun.
Sunflowers as they grow, they turn & twist to face the movement of the Sun. Once they have bloomed to their fullest, they no longer turn & twist. Instead they continue to face the East, the place where the Sun rises.
And so do disciples, always turned toward the source of light.

The Night Sky – finding comfort in the stars
Wednesday, Mercury’s day.
Libra moon today till around midnight.
Then Scorpio moon early in the morning.
Tonight Mercury enters Virgo –
Mercury is at home in both Gemini & VIrgo.
Gemini’s Mercury gathers the information.
Virgo’s Mercury organizes that information.
Two important tasks – gather & organize.

In the morning twilight we can see bright red Mars in between Venus in the north & Jupiter in the South. At night, pale yellow Saturn rises in the sky. It’s said that only night owls can see Saturn.
Find the waxing crescent moon tonight, Near is Spica (blue white star, 15th brightest in the night sky), tonight, tomorrow & the night after, the bright star in Virgo, the Maiden. Spica shines like a diamond, with first magnitude brightness. Spica’s star is the shaft of wheat the Virgo Maiden carries as nourishment for humanit.
Earth Sky says Spica is near the elliptic (2 degrees away), the path of the planets.

There is also a bright orange star to see. It’s Arcturus.
Arcturus is a red giant star in the Northern Hemisphere of Earth’s sky and the brightest star in the constellation Boötes (the herdsman). Arcturus is also among the brightest stars that can be seen from Earth. Arcturus, has special significance in many cultures throughout the world. It is, after all, the fourth brightest star in the sky. Arcturus is also the nearest bright star to Polaris, the North Star, which does not seem to move from moment to moment or night to night. Spring begins when Arcturus rises in the East. Arcturus is called the Guardian of the Bear, due to its close location to the Great Bear, the Big Dipper, or Ursa Major. The story of the constellation Bootes is a beautiful story of love & devotion. Arcturus set the dates for the Egyptina festivals & was called “keeper of the heavens” by the Egyptians. The Chinese called Arcturus, The Golden Palace of the Emperor.” When sailors saw Arcturus rising, they saw it as a harbinger of tumultuous seas. Arcturus is 25x wider than our Sun, however it contains the same “star stuff” as our Sun. Arcturus is an orange giant, which means it’s reached the end of its life. Our Sun has only reached middle age. Arcturus will collapse into a white dwarf & die in a couple of hundred million years. Time is different out there in the cosmos. Arcturus is a “cool” star – 7K degrees. Our Sun is 10K degrees. The Earth receives warmth from Arcturus. The same heal we would receive from a candle 5 miles away. At the Chicago Exposition in 1933, the energy of Artcurus (focused) was able to flip the switch that turned on a bank of floodlights.

Summer Meteors

Early August. Two meteor showers – the Perseids and the Delta Aquariids. The best time to watch is after midnight, when the radiant points for these showers have had a chance to climb into the sky, to be seen from all points on Earth. The meteors will peak during the August full moon, so we need to look for them now before they are shadowed by the Moon’s light.

Today is Tuesday, Mars Ray 6 rules the day.
Today is August 2nd – Libra Moon, Leo Sun.
Leo is fire. Libra is air. Fire & air work together.
Leo is the fire of the Sun – three levels of the Sun.
Central Spiritual Sun. Solar heart of the Sun.
Planetary rays of the Sun. These fires create the burning
ground & humanity become sensitive due to these fires.
We are sensitive to the impact of the personality.
Sensitive to all the environments around us.
Sensitive to the Soul’s direction.
Sensitive to the Spiritual Will.
Leo is Ray 1 – we learn about the Right Use of Will.
When we are liberated from the “thrall” of karma & the lower self (personality), we begin to transform.
The Soul transforms us.
Leo is the Soul.
The Soul comforts & heals.
When we stand under Divine Will, the Will to Good, the Will to Love – we become a vehicle for the Plan & Purpose of Divinity.
We have emerged out of the diffused waters of Cancer
And stand as a point of Leo individual light within the circle of light.

These are the Fires of the Sun – as we stand within them, we are refined, purified, more able to participate in daily life. As we stand in these “fires” we become more & more sensitive to the life in our world, to our environments, to our personality needs, to others needs, to the Soul & to the Lord of the World, Sanat Kumar from Venus. Update on Matthew – A Milestone passed.

Chapter 32, Day 32, August 1 – Monday nite.
One month today, Matthew at Natividad.
Each day making progress. Surprising us.
And so . Today a big milestone – Matthew passed his swallow test. Able to eat & drink.
After one month Matthew can begin to drink liquids and eat foods. We wish one of us had been there during his very first meal to help him eat. We hope the food at Natividad is good. Matt has a very fine palate.
We hope Matthew keeps progressing.
Every day in every way Matthew is getting better & better.

It’s good to say those words to/with Matthew if you talk with him. He likes that phrase. And we believe it too.
Every day in every way Matthew is getting better & better.
Keep going Matthew. We are all with you on this journey. A heart wrenching one, but a good & loving & joyful one.
Because “He’s not heavy, he’s our brother.”
