Ash Wednesday – A Reminder Day
At the altar the priest forms a cross of ashes on the forehead.
With the words – “Remember disciple….From dust thou art created & unto dust thou shalt return.”

This statement is speaking to the personality – that vehicle that interacts with the world – The personality is a triangle – physical body, emotions & lower mind – it is this personality that at death, leave us, element by element – and what is left is the Soul which, with the Angels takes us back to heaven.

The personality is transitory, a vehicle given to us only when we are on Earth – because in truth, each of us is an Angel, a Spirit, from heaven – & we are clothed with the personality in order to be here on earth & interact with form & matter.
That is why we recite the Soul Invocation each day – to remind ourselves –
“I am the Soul. I am LIght Divine. I am Love.
I am Will. I am Fixed & Perfect in my Design.
I AM THE SOUL.
