For those of us reciting the Lamentations Prayer, we stand in the Light, & hold our lamps up high for humanity so the way for humanity is no longer so dark.

Lamentation Prayer
“The city (country, people, hope) stands so desolate.
The foe (the evil ones) has laid its hands
On everything dear to to the people.
The nation has seen her Sanctuary invaded.
For these things do we weep,
Our eyes flow with tears:
Far from us is any comforter
Who might revive our spirit;
Our children are forlorn,
For the foe of evl has prevailed all over the lands.
We call upon the Lord.
We know of His eternal mercies.
He gives mercy anew to His
people each morning.
Restore us to yourself, O Lord,
That we may be restored.
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,
His mercies never cease.
They are new every morning;
Great is our hope & faithfulness.
The city stands so desolate, forlorn & alone.
However, we know the love of the Lord never ceases,
His mercies never cease.
They are given new to His people each morning;
Great is your faithfulness in us O Lord!”

Today is August 18, Tuesday – Mars day, Ray 6 day.
Ray 6 is religion, devotion, prayer, dreams, visions.
A perfect day to read the Lamentation Prayers with our Jewish brothers & sisters, all intoning the prayers in solemn voices hoping to reach the heart of the Father.

Today the moon is in Sagittarius – a sign devoted to truth, to justice, to music & knowledge. Sagittarius would be one who loves the Gayatri – as it calls for the Divine to cleanse & purify the minds of humanity so they may seek the Truth & know the Truth & thus take Right Action.

Sun in Leo – continuing to cultivate our creative gifts, never know when Aquarius will call them forth to build the new era.

Mars/Jupiter tomorrow morning before the Sun comes up!
Many stars in view, the Perseids, auroras & geomagnetic storms!
It’s a party in the sky!

Don’t miss red Mars near bright Jupiter at their closest in the early morning hours tomorrow. Look east before the sun comes up! Jupiter will be the brightest starlike object up there. And Mars will be the redder, dimmer object nearby. Don’t miss them!
Tomorrow morning: Jupiter and Mars closest

Look for bright Jupiter and red Mars in the east, beginning about 2 hours before sunrise. The bright, white light of Jupiter will contrast nicely with dimmer, redder Mars. In binoculars, Jupiter’s moons will add to the view. And it’ll be a great event for telescope owners and astrophotographers to capture both planets in one view! Plus, Aldebaran, the Pleiades and the Hyades make for glittery surroundings. Read more and watch a video.

Severe geomagnetic storming, auroras … and Perseids

The geomagnetic storm level went up to G4 (severe) late yesterday, and more storming is anticipated today. Otherwise, geomagnetic storming stayed at G2-G3 (moderate-strong) levels during most part of the past day. And so conditions have been ripe for auroras at northerly latitudes, and as far south as the U.S. states of Iowa, Oregon and California.
Along with the auroras, there were also meteors! The Perseid meteor shower had its peak mornings yesterday and today. These 2 combined events formed an outstanding show in the heavens!
