An Esoteric Study of the Mass & the Eucharist.
An Enactment of the Last Supper.
Understanding the Mass on Sunday & the Eucharist.
Today is Sunday, May 26, 2024.
Day of rest, of prayer & contemplation.
For some it is the day of attending church or Mass.
What is the Catholic Mass? What is the Eucharist?
And Esoteric Study.
The basic structure of the Mass is similar to a meal, where the family (the people) gather together, to be together, to talk & praise one another, to love one another & to eat (the Eucharist) together. It is a re-enactment of the Last Supper. And everyone shares in a sacred meal (Eucharist). Angels attend Mass & blessings & grace are offered to those who attend.
The Eucharist represents the Presence of the Christ in the form of bread (body, physical) & wine (blood – life giving essence/energy). The Catholic Mass has power & blessings & potency & magic & is spiritual in its very nature (sacred rituals). The Mass is a people’s participatory experience. So many times, the priest/celebrant turns to the people & says the words “The Lord Be With You.” This is a statement recognizing the Divine Spark within each of us, the fire of God, held in the heart.
The Spirit of God within each of us, through the intermediary of our Soul (the vehicle of Spirit that interacts with the world of form). When the host (communion host, little circle of “bread”) is brought forth, it represents the Sun which gives life to all of humanity & the kingdoms on Earth. A change takes place in the little round host, when prayers are said over it. The host, representing the Sun, becomes the “substance” behind which its outer form veils. Substance is a word that means “behind form.”
Substance is that which is “behind” or the heart of physical forms. The Host when prayed over changes form & what occurs is the Angel of the Presence, standing at the altar, connects the Host (bread) with the Christ (Teacher of Love, at the Heart of Hierarchy) and with the Lord of the World, and the atomic structure of the Host changes (also the wine). And the Host flashes forth as a little radiant Sun, filled with life giving Light & Love. The same occurs with the wine – flashing forth as a sacred life giving liquid. They both glow with a hidden light. This is the hidden side of the Eucharistic Service.
At the moment of consecration (raising up the Hose) of the Host glows with dazzling brightness; it becomes a sun to the eye of the clairvoyant, and as the Priest lifts it above the heads of the
people two distinct varieties of spiritual force pour
forth from the host corresponding to the light of the sun and the streamers of his corona.
The first (let us call it Force A) rays out impartially in all directions upon the people in the church, penetrating the walls of the church as though they were not there, and influencing a large section of the surrounding town, village, city, etc. For the people present the intuitional aspect, the mental, emotional & physical auras are affected, cleansed, purified and brought into alignment with Divinity. Such an outpouring of force brings to each individual grace, healing and blessings, in relation to one’s ability to receive.
The 2nd force is that, for those who are deeply devotional (astral body), a Ray of Fire emanates from the Host & touches the emotional body, lifting it up to the intuitional body (the astral body is a lower reflection of the Buddhic level). For some, this induces in them a weeping that is both filled with joy & with sorry & with forgiveness & with healing. For some, devotion to care for others is increased. The Host or also called the “Bread” is a vehicle of the Christ, and becomes an outpost of His consciousness, and it is because of this that we see clairvoyantly, a sunlike radiance streaming from it (the Host).
The Host emits a stream of liquefied light, of living gold dust, or perhaps better still of star-dust, the flashing fire-mist of cosmic space or energy from the heart of Christ. No earthy analogy is really appropriate; but we may perhaps think of the
force as a charge of electricity—an amount stored up, to be released by the touch and action of the
Directing Angel. After the Mass these Forces are
continuous and part of the force emanating is from the
concentrated and directed Will of the Priest.
It is by the power of the Angel of the Presence that the inner change takes place in connection with the elements (bread & wine into the Body & Blood of Christ), when the full force
from above is outpoured. The Angel of the Presence is not a member of the kingdom of the Angels, but is actually a thought-form of the Christ, wearing His likeness. The Christ sends out this “likeness” to all the altars in the world where Mass is being enacted.
And then the Angel of the Presence flashes out when Mass begins. And he attracts large hosts of contemplative and
guardian Angels. They hover around the altar and bathe in
the light radiating from the Host. These Angels are at the same level in the angelic kingdom as are human beings in the human kingdom who attend Mass. These Angels, through their love & devotion, draw down and generate force, which then is distributed to the people. The Angels guard the altar, guard the Host, the Priest & the people.
When the Angel of the Presence connects the Heart of Christ & the Lord of the World with the Host, what takes place looks like a flash of lightning standing still. This line of fire not only flows down to the Host, but also into the consecrated Altar-stone (when Catholic altars are created, the altar stone is blessed) in which are set the seven jewels (representing the Seven Rays in the Big Dipper).
And the seven jewels begin to glow like seven points of fire. TThe celebrant (Priest) is on one of the Rays with which these stones are connected, and the influence flows into him most through the jewel connected with his Ray.
This raises the Celebrant to his highest possibility, and then through him the force invoked at the prayers at the Consecrations play upon & affect the congregation.
Thus there is an interchange of force between the Host, the jewels set in the altar stone, the chalice holding both the Host & the Wine, the candlesticks, the Ray-centres on the walls of the church, the Priest who stands in front of the Altar, and the Angel of the Presence.
As soon as the Host and Wine in the Chalice are consecrated, and on the Altar, a vivid interplay of forces takes place between
them and the consecrated jewels embedded in the Altar Stone, The Altar-jewels act like a prism might, separating
the force radiating from the sacred elements into its component parts.
We notice how many times the priest makes the sign of the Cross & also kneels in adoration before the bread & wine which is in reality the Presence of the Christ. And then, for the people, the Priest raises the Host reverently above his head so that all the people can see and it is at that moment of elevation that secondary rays of fire stream out into the congregation in response to prayers, praise and feelings of awe & gratitude and devotion.
The Celebrant then makes the sign of the Cross over the Host & Wine which purifies the elements and also released a glowing light which flows into the bread and wine, which vivifies the physical atoms, so that the life, which is always welling up form within them increases in quantity and brightness and
makes all the sprillæ glow; and at the same time it begins to flow The sign of blessing and power and the word “bless” intensify this effect and all the atoms glow with light – like a honeycomb of light —living and brilliant. In the center of the Light is a blazing color of topaz.
The blessings (Celebrants hand movement in the form of a Cross) affect the astral atoms all the way up to the buddhic level. All the planes (physical, emotional, mental, Buddhic, Atmic, Monadic, Logoic)) are purified and the people are called to the “table” (to receive the Host) & through their prayers become a fitting vessel for His Presence. And the people receive the Host and they are blessed. And the Angels rejoice.
At the Last Supper (which the Mass represents each day).
And after they had supped, He took the bread & chalice of
wine into his holy and venerable hands: and giving
giving thanks He blessed+ the bread & the wine.
And gave them to His disciples & said eat & drink for this is the bread of my body & the chalice of my Blood.
This is the new (Age) and eternal testament (principle – Pisces Age Principle of Love).
It is the mystery of faith (Pisces), which is given &
offered to you and for many (the people) as a blessing &
for the remission (forgiving) of sins.
As often as you shall do these things, you shall do them in memory of me. And I shall be with you always.”
Prayer before Mass & at the Eucharist.
“Thou shalt sprinkle me with hyssop and I shall be cleansed: thou shalt wash me and I shall be made pure as the snow.”
May the Lord enkindle within us the fire of His love, and the flame of everlasting charity. Amen.
It is the beginning of a new week.
Sun in Gemini – Moon in Capricorn.
What planet is common to both Gemini & Capricorn.
This is an esoteric astrology question.
Explanation:
In Esoteric astrology each sign has three (or more) rulers.
“Rulers” means, the sign (Gemini in this instance) flows thru multiple planets before reaching our Earth.
1. First Ruler is the planet that helps build the personality.
For Gemini (2) this planet is Mercury (4)
2. Second ruler is the planet that helps connect the personality with the Soul. For Gemini it is Venus (5).
3. Third ruler is the planet that is called the Spiritual ruler – when one’s personality is completely Soul infused. For Gemini – the spiritual ruler of the Earth (3).
