Leo calls us to recognize our creative selves.
When we create we come to know ourselves & our identity more.
I am what I create, we say under Leo.
New moon times – new seeds planted.
They bloom at the full moon festival.

So – today – Venus inconjuncts Neptune (Leo/Pisces).
Rays 5 & 6 – concrete knowledge & truth lead to aspirations, hopes wishes & dreams. Visions too.

Venus enters Virgo tonight at 7:33pm (PT).
Venus leaves Leo (1 & 5) & enters Virgo (2 & 6). Note the shift in the Rays. from knowledge rays (1, 3, 5) to love rays (2, 4, 6).
Venus in Virgo – Knowledge of things true opens the door to pure love.

Venus & Virgo – the deepest commitment of Love unfolding (if we are not critical or judgmental which Virgo unskillfully can be). The Soul (Christ principle), hidden in Virgo, descends into matter. This is the “fall” (sacrifice) of the feminine, the Mother who is Ray 3 – the Earth.

Venus in Virgo – the Soul within form & matter (substance) emerging as Love & Wisdom. It is a “fall” into earth, which then “raises up” the earth. A sacrifice that love (feminine principle) makes for humanity. Venus in Virgo – the Light of Love emerges from the protected obscure dwelling of the Earth (the Mother in Virgo). This is deeply esoteric.

Mercury stations retrograde tonight.
4 degrees Virgo, moving back & re entering Leo – back to 22 Leo.
Mercury is retrograde until August 28th.
And remains in its retrograde shadow till September 12th.

We understand these things now (retrogrades).
Knowing what tasks are appropriate during the retrogrades.

Renew, review, reassess, repair, recapitulate, etc.
It is a looking back time. What needs to be eliminated?
What do we keep? What can we give away?
Our minds, full of information from the last Mercury retrograde.
During Mercury retrogrades we all slightly become Virgos.
Order & ordering our minds in preparation for new thoughts & revelations when Mercury goes direct again.
