Canadian holiday on which Queen Victoria, the British sovereign’s birthday is celebrated.
In 1845, during the reign of Queen Victoria, May 24, the queen’s birthday, was declared a holiday in Canada. Queen Victoria was the monarch of the United Kingdom and the British Empire from 1837 to 1901.
Queen Victoria’s reign is known as the Victorian Era, a period marked by significant social, political, and technological advancements in Britain. Her reign was a period of industrialization, expansion of the British Empire, and significant cultural changes.

Queen Victoria was a figure of great importance, and her influence shaped much of the history of the late 19th century.
Queen Victoria sent a wreath to Alice Bailey’s family when her grandfather died. It was the only wreath on the coffin.

Alice Bailey (June 16, 1880 – Dec. 15, 1949) grew up in Victorian times, very rigid religious times at first.
After great difficulty & illness, a rigid religious upbringing, at the age of 15, she was visited by Master Koot Humi. After a visit to India & late after a disastrous marriage & the birth of three daughters, Alice finally landed in California (Lemurian land) & her entire life changed! (Bakersfield area, Monterey & the cannery, Pacific Grove where she was taught directly from three Theosophical scholarly elderly women & her esoteric journey began). Later Alice lived in Hollywood Hills, at the first Theosohical Society Krotona (now in Ojai, Ca) community, where she met & married Foster Bailey. Laer, Foster & Alice moved to NYC where she & Foster established Lucis Trust for the Hierarchy. From Victorian Times to modern times – from Theosophy to the Esoteric. From 1919 to 2049, Alice brother the blue books via the direction of the Tibetan Dwhal Khul.

1800 = 1900 – education health, industrializaion, culture & travel expanded.
Victoria was very young, at age 18 when she became queen.
Her granddaughter Queen Elizabeth was 25 when she became queen.
Queen Victoria & her 1st cousin, Prince Albert (an architect) have nine children. She invented the first bottles for breast feeding babies. Note: All early European royalty intermarried.

The British came to Ireland, a beautiful land.
Built homes, gardens, parks, etc, all now accessible to Irish people.
Without the British development, feats of engineering & industrialization in Britain & Ireland during Queen V’s reign, neither country would have progressed & be what they are today. The British traveled the world, educating the world.
This was their spiritual purpose. In their education they attempted to break down barriers & establish brotherhood.
Many spiritual teachers came to England (London).
And later to the new Jerusalem – to the United States.

In 1800s, the Hierarchy conditioned the souls to come into incarnation so humanity’s evolution would be accelerated. Esoteric Psychology 2, p. 261.

Kings & Queens had (present day leaders have) great spiritual mental emotional & physical responsibilities as leaders of the people. They must have strength, courage, determination, intelligence, intuition, a moral code, right thinking & look deep into the future, protecting the people. Risa
