Halloween! A holy day & night!
Hallow – to make holy, make sacred. Hallowed.
The night when the veils part, we see into other worlds.
Halloween – the night before the Holy Day tomorrow, All Saints Day. And the day after – All Souls Day.
The ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, marking the end of summer and a harvest. Celts believed the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead blurred during this time, so they wore costumes to ward off ghosts & goblins.

Scorpio Sun, highlighting the autumn festivals of dark/light (Halloween, All Souls, All Saints.

Halloween or El Dia de los Muertos, initiates the three-day festival of ghosts, goblins and spirits, good and bad, allowed to pierce the veils separating worlds (planes of consciousness).

We honor the spirits, especially relatives and little ones (angels) with altars of food, marigolds, candles, flowers, copal (incense) and prayers of greeting and hope.

Skeletons glide by, appear as cookies while in dark places things go “bump in the night”.

The festivals (of light) for the “dark half of the year” have begun. Both Sun and Mars are in Scorpio. Mercury in Sagittarius.
Hermes (Mercury), the messenger, takes us on a journey.
Every journey is the Road to Shamballa.
In Scorpio, the 8th Labor it’s a a Scorpionic labor & journey – concerning Mars/Scorpio’s Nine Tests of the personality, given each year at this time, preparing us for….
1. discipleship (Scorpio & Sag),
2. service (Capricorn & Aquarius),
3. and saving the world (Pisces).

Mars provides the tests as Pluto transforms us.

We are aware & very careful with our words while in Scorpio – with Mercury the Spiritual ruler. Communication (ours/others) can be unconsciously unkind, merciless and heartless, leading us to know we must take up a formal study of Non-violent Communication or Compassionate Communication ways of thinking & speaking. So we are no longer unconsciously cruel.

Tomorrow Saturday – All Saints Day.
Sunday – All Souls Day – & our time changes.
Falling back.
