Yesterday I posted a joke – today I ask a question.
Today is Friday – February 16, 2024.
Venus (5) enters Aquarius (5) today.
Joining Sun, Mercury, Mars & Pluto in Aquarius.
The new era & atmosphere of Aquarius all lined up.

During Lent – new rhythms.
Cultivating new rhythms, new behaviors, new awarenesses.
During our 40 days of Lent, we create new rhythms.
And during those 40 days & nights, we are tested.
And called to become a new person.
Preparing for a new spring of a new year.
The Work
We notice our behaviors & assess is they radiate Goodwill.
We notice if we react to situations or respond to situation.
The two are different. One is Mars activity, the other Venus.
Mars is reaction, anger, defensiveness. Venus is harmony, reaching out in unity, calmness, patience, love.
We can learn to listen to others without taking offense.
By stepping back & asking what is the more harmonious approach?
Then we choose the more harmonious approach.
In this way, we don’t break the heart connection.
No one takes offense – not the self or the other.

Reactivity, reactions disturb harmony. They shatter relationships, friendship, connections between two people.
Conflicts & chaos then arise.
Responses & Right communication allow for the connections between two people to remain intact.

Creating & Maintaining Contact Releases Love.

Words to use.
“I am listening. Do you want to say more? I will ponder upon that idea. I respect what you are saying. I want to understand more. I do understand. Your point of view is important to me. Tell me more. Thank you. I love you.”

During Lent we are tested.
Not taking offense, how to communicate – these are clues as to how to pass those tests.
And thus create a new rhythm of response.
