It is finished!
In his final moments, a powerful statement
He looked to the heavens & said these words.
His mission on earth complete.
Taking to himself the evils, darkness & sins of the people.
Opening the Way for humanity to be reconciled to God.
It is finished, he said – a victory of Love.
The Divine Plan completed.
A beginning new hope for humanity.
Nothing more needs to be done.
His sacrifice was enough.
It is finished.
The last words of the Christ.
With these words He confirmed his sacrifice.
He fulfilled the purpose for which He came.
It is finished. And so…
The New Plan for humanity begins.
Nothing more to be done.
He took His last breath.
And then He rested in the tomb.
