Salutations to our Teachers.
While still in the Ashram Kitchen.
Mars in Cancer today – making comforting foods.
Making spaghetti sauce today in the Ashram kitchen.

In class this morning we studied Chiron.
A three hour class.
When we begin our year long studies soon, which I will
post for everyone to join us, we will study Chiron in our astrology charts.
Chiron awakens us through the deep wounding & suffering we experience. It IS the Awakener, setting us on a burning ground that is ongoing. Understanding our Chiron, brings a sense of healing within the self & then when we recognize the same wound in others, we help in their healing. It is a healing journey . Chiron is in Aries (see chart below). Chiron is calling us, as is the North Node in Aries, for each of us to “know thyself”. This is the purpose of our work here on FB & also the purpose of the upcoming classes we will be offering. Astrology is the primary way of coming to know the self & others.
But today…Saturday, September 7, 2024.
It’s Saturn’s day, Ray 3 day – Divine Intelligence Day.
We are working under Virgo Sun, Scorpio moon, Mercury square Uranus – soothing foods to ease the sudden shifts & changes Uranus offers to us. Uranus speaks to us today via Mercury.
Mercury & Uranus are the Soul & Spiritual rulers of Aries.
Uranus is Ray 7, the violet flame.
Mercury leaves Leo tomorrow, Sunday night, & enters Virgo.
We are invited to talk about ourselves, our talents, gifts & creative abilities.
Mars in Cancer – the focus on nourishment.
Jupiter in Gemini – more communication, lots of it!
Salutations to Our Teachers.
Sacred Celebration Today.
Celebration of the Seven Rishis.
Masters of the Seven Ashrams.
The Teachers of the Teachers. From Above to Below.
Seven Great Teachers who are within our Earth realms who help humanity to ascend.
Each Teacher represents one of the Chakras.
These are in us as the Seven Chakras.
As Above, So Below – we have these in the cosmic & on earth, in the different dimensions. Seven Ray Lords. Seven Great Stars of the Great Bear & the Pleiades. The Seven Seers. The Great Sages, or Teachers, – from the ancient times to the present time. Celebrated in India.
Rishi refers to the seven learned sages who devoted their lives to educating & enlightening humanity. The seven sages enlightened the world with their wisdom and guided the human race to remain on the right (lighted) path. This day is set aside to recognize them for their exceptional contribution (which continues) to civilization & humanity’s awakening.

In Italian families, the entire clan came together on Sundays for dinner. Usually at the grandmother’s home or the eldest female in the family. The grandmother & the mothers begin early morning preparing the “sauce” (or gravy as some call it) along with the raviolis, lasagna, roast chicken, a beef roast & salads, etc.
Following is the recipe for the sauce – used for spaghett, raviolis & lasagna.
Ingredients (dinner tonight in the Ashram)
This is a meat sauce.
however, instead of meat one can use a pound of mushrooms.
Pound of ground round & a lb of pork (a chop, or ground pork, some use italian sausage). My recipe has ground round & a pork chop that was pre cooked.
In olive oil & ghee or butter, add chopped onion, bell peppers, zucchini/yellow summer squash, celery, carrots, kale, mushrooms, parsley, garlic cloves.
Saute veggies. Remove to a bowl.
In same pot, add more olive oil, saute meat.
Add salt, pepper, basil, oregano, organic onion & garlic powder, a drop of red pepper flakes.
Add sauteed veggies to meat (when cooked) & herbs.
Add several cans of organic tomatoes (blend in cuisinart), or cans of tomato sauce. Simmer on back of stove for several hours.
At end of cooking add honey to the sauce.
Have bowls of grated parmesan & romano.
Server sauce over al dente pasta.
A salad on the side.
Salad
lettuce, arugula, spinach, celery, cabbage, kale, radishes, red onion, carrots, parsley, fresh chopped garlic. Olive oil, garlic & lemon dressing.
And the saying of gratitude prayers before meals.
love, Risa
