Mutable Cross of Experience. Cross of the Personality.

What is a Cross? What is the Mutable Cross? What is the Personality? What is the Cross of Experience?

Today is Tuesday, Mars day, Ray 6 day, both guarding, guiding, directing & ruling our day today.
The Ray color is a rose blue.

Ray 6 signifies (stimulates based on awareness) vision, hopes, wishes, dreams, religion, desire & aspiration. These are the uplifting qualities.

When one is not on the upward arc (Evolutionary arc), Ray 6 can be anger, rage, vengeance, regressive tendencies, cult tendencies of devotion, victimhood, despair, believing in nothing & it can be fanaticism.
The regressive behaviors tell us one is on the involutionary Arc, deep in matter, unaware of consequences, ignorant.

Everything has a positive & a negative side to it.
One is either on the Involutionary Arc (into matter, materialism) or on the Evolutionary Arc (the pathway of virtue, awakedess, consciousness, the Return to the Father’s house).

Ray 6 flows thru planets Mars & Neptune.
And thru the signs of Virgo (2/6), Sagittarius (4, 5, 6) and Pisces (2/6) – the mutable cross signs.
The mutable signs are Gemini (2), Virgo (2/6), Sag (4, 5, 6) & Pisces (2/6). Note Gemini is NOT Ray 6.

We look for & note all of these in our astrology chart.
And write on our charts – where Ray 6 is.

Everyone’s astrology chart should be printed out (multiple copies) on paper in order to take notes & write on the paper when learning about astrology. Learning about one’s own astrology which is the identification of self/Self.
So on everyone’s paper where one’s astrology chart is printed, write Ray 6 where it is appropriate (planets & signs) & color them with a circle of rose blue.
Who will do this?

What is a Cross?
What are the Three Astrological Crosses?
What is the Mutable Cross?
Crosses are – a vertical line intersected with a horizontal line.
Vertical line – our communication w/ God.
Horizontal line – our communication with each other.
Four arms to a cross.
The vertical arm is Spirit (above) precipitating down into form & matter (Earth).
The horizontal arm is our living side by side in form & matter with each other, sharing, experiencing each other in form & matter on a daily basis.

There are Three Astrological Crosses – Mutable, Fixed & Cardinal.
Note – these are also modalities –
Modalities – a mode of expression or how something is done or expressed. Everywhere-ly, fixed-ly, initiate-ingly.
Each Cross has signs & planets at the end of each of its arms.
The Mutable Cross – the first Cross (how we live in & perceive form & matter) we experience.

The Mutable Cross of Experience (with its signs & planets assisting us in our experiences in form & matter) is called the Cross of Experience (or the Cross of building the personality). The next cross, the Fixed Cross is caled the Cross of the Soul.

The Mutable is the first of the Three Crosses (we “mount” while in form & matter).
The Cross of Experience or Personality (offer us experiences, events, people, interactions, etc. we encounter in form & matter)

This Cross helps builds our personality so that our personality is strengthened & able to house the Soul. It develops knowledge & courage & builds the lower brain mind (1 & 1 = 2, etc.).

What is the Personality? (physical body, emotions, brain mind).
The personality is a vehicle (created by Spirit) that interacts with form & matter.
The Personality is the physical body, our emotions/astral body & the lower mind –
We are half divine (a Principle) & half animal (not a Principle).
As we go thru the Crosses, the lower self (animal man) is lifted up to the divine self. This is called “redeeming” matter.

The personality (built by God, in order to have an intermediary between the His Fire, the fires of God & the fragility of humanity) is a TEMPORARY VEHICLE) & THUS NOT a Principle. The Soul is not temporary, thus the Soul IS a Divine PRINCIPLE.

At death our personality disintegrates into its originating elements. What accompanies us at death is the Soul, the vehicle of Will/Purpose, Love/Wisdom & Divine Intelligence – the Soul returns us, a Spirit to the Father’s house after our long Prodigal Son’s/Daughter’s journey into form & matter. Form & matter (mater) is the Earth, the Mother.

And so….we can only develop the Virtues & Awarenesses & Gifts needed to be a Disciple while living in Form & Matter. The Earth is thus a School, a Mystery School, a University, a College, our training ground.

With this knowledge we also begin to be aware that…
Everything (here on Earth as in the Heavens which overlight & direct & guide us) is holy, everything is sacred & everything in our lives is a symbol.

Astrology (study, ongoing, daily study) & the Wisdom teachings unlock those symbols for us (which includes all the stores in the Bible, Old & New Testament).
That was a long discourse. What did everyone learn from it?
This is our Esoteric Astrological Wisdom Teachings, Science & Art College & University.

Extra Credit
Transits (constant movements of Sun, moon & planets in the heavens (in between the Rays & constellations the heart of the Sun), their energy precipitating down into form & matter, into our bodies, as seen in our astrology charts are Forces. These Forces pour down from the heavens in order to influence, direct, guide, purify our personality, to bring change & awareness, to help us develop virtues, to strengthen us, to build courage & to meet the timing of our Initiations (expansions of awareness), when the Rod of Power is used to facilitate further changes in us.

These Forces are timings (we can calculate & know about), they are times for our opportunities to change. Nothing changes w/out these transits & Forces. This is part of the heart of astrology & as astrologers we can track them.

A new week begins again. Monday, February 23, 2026 – Birthdays should last at least a week.
And so on we sail into a new reality of things yet to be – life becomes a surprise, a car show, a festival, a party, an Eden, a paradise (when we know the astrology of everything and the Wisdom Teachings).

And so, today Taurus moon until a v/c occurs from 2:30 – 6:30 pm (PT). Then the moon enters Gemini (2) –
Our communication changes – from earth comforts to air thoughts. From Vulcan to Venus. From illumination to sharing n a meadow of flowers.

The Taurus (4) moon becomes v/c at the moment when it touches Uranus (7) today. Something unexpected may occur w/ Uranus (the renegade). Maybe a revelation.
Like a message heard on inner levels.
Like this –

After I posted yesterday’s wishes, hopes, dreams, aspirations…we went for a long long drive (Mercury).
And during that quiet pastoral drive I heard very clearly in my mind “We heard you, Risa.” I know it was from the upper planes. It had a deep voice, filled with love & compassion & intelligence.
I thought it came from my Shasta friend, Indigo/Adonis. His telling me…”We heard you, Risa.” That pleased me. Being heard.

And so, today…
Pisces Sun, Mercury & Venus – with Mercury slowing down for its retrograde station Wednesday evening, Thursday early morning. The retrograde occurring at 22 degrees Pisces back to 8 degrees Pisces (stationing direct on the Equinox).

Where are those degrees in everyone’s astrology chart?
What areas of life will be affected, will we remember, is there a possibility of a rapprochement? What does that French word mean? How would that word be applied to our lives?

Love is everyday food that is pure, cherished & nourishing.
Love is a kitchen atelier with a cherry tree outside the window. Cherries on one’s Washington day birthday.
Today is a happy birthday day, Pisces Sunday. With Venus & Jupiter trine today – an auspicious day to have a birthday.
