Solstice & Equinoxes – Days of Consecration
Since ancient times, fire rituals have been performed on solstice/equinox days; at the present time they are mostly lost. Many people do not know the meaning of the solstices and equinoxes and do not pay attention to the change of energy. There are religious festivals around these cardinal points; We are to understand the qualities of time, otherwise we only vaguely participate, do meditations just because it’s a solstice or an equinox time.
However, we are to understand their inner sacred significance, in order to conduct inner work with a deep sacred & holy intention.
The festivals take place according to the solar calendar and not to the lunar calendar: the Sun stands for the light of awareness, consciousness, the Sun is stable, the moon creates moods and vagaries.
Days of Initiation
The three days – the day before, during and the day after the solstices/equinoxes – around the nodal points are regarded as days of initiation, if we understand what is happening on the Earth in relation to the Sun and in relation to ourselves. The transformations available are not possible through a theoretical understanding or a routine ritual, but only if we attune ourselves to the greater Plan and reduce the everyday on these days.
Then the corresponding unfoldments happen.
These days are festivals of consecration; therefore simplicity is recommended and that we do not exhaust ourselves in objectivity. There is no need for special food or new clothes. The inner meaning is that on those days we receive spiritual food and the subtle garments of the body of light. Gradually we build a golden and a diamond body.
The Northern and the Southern Course of the Sun
Seen from the Earth, there is a northern and a southern coursing of the Sun. The axis of the Earth performs a tilting motion and we experience it as the apparent movement of the Sun from north to south & south to north.
For 6 months, from Capricorn to Cancer, the Sun moves northward. Spiritually, it means the ascent of the soul from the depths of matter.
December 21st is regarded as the day of birth of the Light, the Light of the World, the birth of the holy Child who became the Savior.
Initiations happen at the solstices & equinoxes. Initiations beyond planetary Initiations.
For the body to assimilate the solstice & equinox light, it needs food filled with light – fresh vegetables and fruits that have received a lot of sun rays, also fresh water and juices. With good food the body tissue becomes finer and finer and we can build delicate but powerful bodies.
The Scriptures therefore propose that from solstice on we re-organize our diet, breathe consciously and deeply and absorb the Sun’s rays through the body. This allows for a better flow of prana and we build a lightweight, light-filled house to live in it as a soul. It is as if we are entering anew into the forms of our body. Our homes should also be pure, filled with light and clean.
Ascent & Descent of the Sun God –
The Sun seeds in our bodies reflect the movement of the Sun.
At the winter solstice, the Sun seed is reflected in our solar plexus. It begins to move up to the Soul (equator in our body), at Winter solstice. At Spring time the Sun seed is at the heart center within our bodies. At Summer Solstice, the Sun seed is at our Ajna Center.
Thus the sun’s rays enter & vitalize our bodies. We are divine beings. Our Sun is our Teacher & our Direction.
The first 4 degrees in Capricorn/ Cancer are of particular importance. Note: the day after Christmas, Dec. 26th, the full moon solar festival is 4+ degrees Capricorn.
These degrees are called “returning again” and “dwelling” degrees. We invoke the Lord of Light into ourselves & by doing so, He comes to dwell again in our hearts.
The Heavenly Man acting through the Solar God (Sun), is the original model of livingness and we are his copies (humanity made in the image of God). When the Sun’s light enters into us, this archetype of God is strenghened in our inner sanctum, the heart lotus. Its electromagnetic impulse shapes our form according to his shape.
As the Sun moves into us and we in him, the solar Plan is executed through us. This is the Initiation that we receive at both the Cancer & Capricorn solstices. We contemplate on the Solar God of Light within us.

What is an Executive order?
An Executive Order is an issued (laws) written signed directive by the President, managing the operations of the Federal government.
The day before Winter Solstice is considered Saturn’s (time of darkness) day. And so, today (December 20) is Saturn’s day, the day before the Winter Solstice.
Saturn is the Rule of Law.
Astrologically a drama is enacted on the day before Winter Solstice. It is spiritually the bringing down of Satan (darkness)…the fight against the dragon/shadow.
Satan is our shadow/dweller. If we have light within us, we also have shadow.
History – Dec. 20, 2017, signing of Ex. Order.
The true prez signed an Ex Order the day before Winter Solstice & it became effective Winter solstice, 2017.
Sun/Son at 0 degrees (& Saturn/Satan, the shadow – Sun/Saturn were both at 0 degrees Cap.
The Sun/Son of Light meets the dragon of darkness.
The Light met the dark & the dark was vanquished.
This is the esoteric understanding reflected in outer events, seeing the spiritual practicality & knowing of it.
Big picture – the energies of the heavens are potent. Disciples understand the inner potency of the energies, utilize & thus anchor them. Thus we work with & align with the F/Light.
Decoding the cosmic events – into our daily lives.
So that we can understand.
Astrology, when practiced daily, brings forth our intuition.
In the times we are entering, flooded w/ AI (artificial intelligence), flooded w/ information & often untruths.
It will be our intuition that we must rely on.
We develop our pathway to the intuition via the study & application of Astrology.
It will come down to basic survival.
And the ability to create the new era.
Using astrology daily guides us thru mis information.
Living through the greatest time in the history of our country since its founding. We are the villagers (disciples) of the new era.
As things move forward, we wlll see more & more of the Dark forces using mis information to confuse & separate.
Pushing a separation between the unawakened & the Patriot movement. Putting a fork in the wheel, so everyone will fall off. Humanity needs discernment & discrimination of what is the truth & the untruth? It is humanity’s test now.

We have a short v/c till 2:47pm (west coast).
Then the moon enters Aries (1/7).
We remember we are in a Mercury, Jupiter, Uranus, Vesta & Chiron retrograde time.
Inlets/Outlets.
The cosmic energies flow into the inlets then out into different areas of the world. At each center/city is the Great Teacher.
We have begun a study of these five sacred inlets/outlets.
Visualizing creating the Venus 5 pointed star as we say the names of the different cities – Darjeeling, NYC, London, Geneva, Tokyo & Darjeeling. For weeks we gaze a photos of each of the cities. We have just begun so we are looking at photos of Darjeeling & learning about it. It is a hill station, in northeast India.
Darjeeling is known for its tea plantations. It has a Peace Pagoda and many monasteries. See the five pointed star below. Not the rays, the planets, of each of the inlets/outlets. We are also studying the names of the Ray Lords.
The word has gone out to rally all the disciples and aspirants of the world to an intensive work, and with that appeal from the Great Ones I seek to occupy myself. Everyone is needed and must go forward with hope and certainty. The hierarchy is, with concentration, working and bending every effort to make the plan a success. The New Group of World Servers are being more closely integrated, and the work they are to do is being carefully planned. In London, in New York and in Geneva are three centres of their activity, and at Darjeeling and in Tokyo there is a mustering of forces.

And, all of a sudden it’s almost Solstice (this Thursday!!
Then Christmas Eve (Sunday).
At midnight, we light our white candle.
Then Christmas (Monday) – a most holy day!
~Then the last full moon of 2023 – on Tuesday, Dec. 26th.
The Solar Festival of Capricorn – at 5 degrees.
~Then the 12 days of Christmas.
~Then the new year of 2024 – an 8 year – Scorpio number.
Begun in a Mercury station!
It should be a most interesting year indeed!
~Then Feast of the Three Kings on January 8th.
~And by then we are launched into the new year of 2024.
A new liturgical (prayers & acts of the people) year begins.
So this is our last week & these are our last days of Sun in Sagittarius (Rays4, 5, 6) for 2023.
On Thursday this week – in the evening, Sun enters Capricorn
(Rays 1, 3, 7). Note the shift in the Rays from Sag to Cap.
So much happens on Solstice day (Thursday)
– it’s a complex day that day.
1. A new season begins – that of winter.
2. A new light appears in the darkness like magic!
3. We stand in our shadow and see it’s the longest shadow cast of ourselves for the year (northern hemisphere).
4. The Sun stops in its tracks at its southern-most position.
At the Tropic of Capricorn.
5. Stonehenge lights up & all the other prehistoric structures that were built to align with the sun.
Where are they? Who knows?
6. We begin the study of Right Human Relations on Solstice.
7. We join with the Hierarchy, preparing for Wesak.
8. In the night time, as if heralding the solstice are the Ursid meteor showers! All of this we can plan on and prepare for.
The kingdom (both heaven & its reflection, Earth) is like an ongoing festival! The kingdoms are festive! And humanity is invited to participate!

For Christmas? How are we preparing our children to know about this event that occurred 2000 years ago…an event that was a cosmic event of unparalleled significance.
The sun’s beneficent force is quiet, still for three days.
Then, midnight, Dec. 25, the Sun begins to rise again, moving towards the equator –
And the new God of Light is born for humanity.
Above in the sky is the sign of Virgo, the Mother of the world & the holy child. She is seen on the eastern horizon, brooding over the Earth & the new light.
In the west we see the belt (three stars) of Orion – the Three Magi Astrologer Kings, the Wise Men.
Questions: Do we know these mystery teachings? Are we teaching these mysteries to our children? If so, how?
Our earth is a Mystery School.
Each sign, holding specific tasks, is sacred. The tasks too are sacred. We are gifts to each other. That’s part of the mystery!

Light Workers, the NGWS, the Silent Watchers, light their candles for humanity. We stand quietly in the heart center of our world, our country, humanity. The place of the Soul.

(organic) Olive oil, onions, celery, bell pepper, parsley, garlic, zucchini, mushrooms, grass fed ground round in a sauce of roasted heirloom tomatoes. For the Einkorn whole wheat noodles.

The need for Moral & Ethical Principles to guide our way.
Morals & Ethical Principles are also the Laws & Principles that guide people & nations through the Ages).
Free Speech Absolutists “conflate” free speech w/ good.
It is “good” to have free speech.
No that is upside down.
We do not conflate “good” with “free speech.”
What does “conflate” mean”
Conflate means to “combine two or more things into one.”
Free speech of the relativist has no ethics. They are agnostic.
They do not recognize the intrinsic good or evil (outcomes) of their speech/words. They are ignorant. They have no moral or ethical foundations. Relativism is like a dictator that has no moral compass or metaphysical knowledge.
This is subtle.
What does it mean that we have “free speech?”
That we are CAPABLE of free speech.
Are the free speech people (relativists) aware of the consequences of sound & thought & the spoken word?
We need to harness the our free speech abilities to that which is good. It is NOT GOOD to support death of another in the words used. Free speech is a gift. Speech is a gift. How is our gift of being capable of speaking used?
Words, Thoughts, Deeds
About words & their usage (thoughts & deeds, too).
There is a natural trajectory of energy.
It begins with thoughts that become words that become actions. That is the outcome.
In a climate where our young people have not been taught ethics & morals (or the Laws of the Ages). We thus have “wokism” & a relativistic (no morals, no ethics) climate of “free speech.”
A reminder in our relativistic climate today of no morals or ethers….
“Words matter (create reality).”
One’s choice of words emerge from thoughts, & words matter.
“The tongue has the power of life and death.” (Proverbs 18:21)
In our relativiistic climate of there is NO Truth & nothing matters, & there are no consequences & there is such ignorance…
there are no morals or ethics to guide the young ones.
There is just what one thinjs or opines in the moment.
The terrible death squads & actions of Hitler began with words.
The outcome was WW2 & the Holocaust.
Words matter.
We know this from the Mercury rulership of Scorpio.
Words can create and they can destroy.
Words without a moral and ethical foundation can create a climate of death.
The climate the young people have been taught is a “woke” state of being. What is this? Woke” is an ideology whose “truth” has no morals or ethics, no foundaiton of good. It is an ever-shifting, ever-adapting, ever “evolving” state of opinion. It has no leveling. It is a flight from truth (Sagittarius).
One must be held to account for what one says.
There must be intellectual MORALITY & ETHICS behind one’s words.
Yes one has the ABILITY to speak freely.
However….
Shame on the tongue that promotes death & supports t-rr–ism.
Death & t-rr–ism by any means, words like “from the desert to the sea!”
Shame on those who in their ignorance are supporting this.
A healthy state of mind & conscience (one who knows of & follows morals/ethics & the Laws & Principles of the Ages – the Ten Commandments, the Law of Love – an ethic & set of principles to guide humanity into what is right & what is wrong, what is good & what is not good), one (young ones) trained in Goodwill & Right Human Relations would never support the woke agenda.
Free speech needs to be anchored to a moral & ethical foundation (a substructure). If not that free speech become dangerous. It leads to death (think of HItler, his genocide & his verbal ravings – what he told <using words> the people “enchanted them” into believing in the annihilation of the Jewish people.
A moral ethical person does not adovate genocide – not in thought, word or deed.
In the Catholic Act of Confesstion – “Bless me Father, for I have sinned in thought, word & deed.”
What has happened to our young people?
Where & when did the education of our young ones begin to go wrong?
Were we not listening to the universities & their faculty of wokeness?
Watching all of them they are not only wrong, but they are truly unattractive.
Twenty five years ago, in Santa Cruz, seeing what was occurring at the university, I said…the universities are like dead dragons now…no longer useful anymore. If they continue they will become dangerous. We need to create a new educational field & let the (woke) universities as they are today to fall away.
Humanity needs a new education. That is the task of the New Group of World Servers today. Our gate is open. The Tylers of protection stand at our gate. Only true seekers can enter through our Gate.

Santa Lucia (St. Lucy) feast day.

A Festival of Light at the very end of the dark 1/2 of the year.
Days before Winter Solstice.
When all hope seems lost that the Sun’s light will return.
Feast days of light bring hope to a darkened world.
Santa Lucia is a feast day of light in the darkness.
Its festivities begin before dawn.
Under the Light of Venus.
Today is the Feast day of St. Lucia.
Lucia or Lucy, from Latin “luc, lux”, meaning “light”, “lucid.”
The Story
4th Century young wealthy (born of rich & noble parents) Christian woman, Lucia, during the times of Roman persecution (303 to 313 AD, when Christian worship was forbidden). Early Christians had to hide their acts of prayers and worship. They therefore met in catacombs (underground) to gather together. Legends written about Lucy say she often brought food and aid to Christians hiding in the Roman catacombs. She wore a candle-lit wreath on her head to light her way, leaving both hands free to carry as much food as possible.
Because her name means “light” and her feast day coincided with the shortest day of the year, it is now widely celebrated as a festival of light.
Occurring within the Advent season, Saint Lucy’s Day is viewed as a precursor of Christmastide, pointing to the arrival of the Light of Christ in the calendar on December 25th, Christmas Day.
Lucy distributed her wealth to the poor, consecrated her life to God, and refused an arranged marriage — leading to her denouncement and subsequent martyrdom.
Lucy is the patron saint of the blind. She is also an icon for the holiday Season of Darkness (bringing light into the darkness). Especially in Scandinavian and Italian towns, but here and there across America, Santa Lucia’s feast day is celebrated.
Young girls wear halos of lights, wreaths of evergreens with seven candles, reflecting the Advent wreath on tables as centerpieces.
Candles and flickering lights are everywhere during this feast day, as light is the central theme – casting out the darkness.
Santa Lucia festivities include parades (serenading the dark, the land, the sky, the trees) with young women carrying light upon their heads (passing by and seen through a darkened window), the festivities at times beginning before dawn.
In some villages, the entire town celebrates with open houses, lights on windows, followed by Mass or religion ceremonies, the reading of the Christmas story & the lighting of the Christmas tree (the White House Christmas tree was lit last night in Washington). Festival foods include teas, mulled wine, cider, the Swedish treat, Lussekatter or St. Lucia Saffron Buns.

So today is the new moon festival of Sagittarius.
It’s also Our Lady of Guadalupe feast day.
And Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius – the horse stops in his tracks…the rider perplexed as to what is occurring? The rider consults the stars & realizes they both must retrace their steps. Everything about the journey in the past three months needs to be assessed & reassessed. So the knight & the white horse stop for a while in a village, resting, contemplating, finding solace in the countryside, knowing in the new year, their journey will continue. love, Risa

About December & Advent – the Journey
The Jesse Tree (what is that?)
December is the first month of the year where there a silence seems to be descending. Most of December is in the sign of Sagittarius (till December 21st). One of the main qualities of Sag IS silence.
For some, in the outer world of nature, December feels bleak. December’s landscape (in most places in the northern hemisphere except southern California) of brown on brown sets the tone of bareness.
December is the first month where a real silence settles in nature. The leaves have fallen; the devas are quiet, most animals have gone into hibernation; many birds have migrated south. Cole winds whip through the ice-bare trees. The long winter nights diminishes the the light of day. We are aware of a silence and darkness that begs to be filled.
Filled with what? What do we fill this outer bleakness with?
This is where our Advent wreaths and candles come in, our Hanukkah menorah with its eight candles and our Christmas trees filled with lights. Bringing into our homes from the outside greed cedar, pine, juniper, fir branches, entwining them w/ tiny lights, to enliven and enlighten our nights. They give us hope in this encroaching darkness.
The Jesse Tree (Jesus’s Family Tree)
There is something that many churches create called a Jesse Tree. The Advent tradition of the Jesse Tree has Gospel readings that takes us through the history of salvation of humanity over eons & eons of time – in the readings we see vivid accounts of what we see today in our world – that of greed, evil, control, lies, immorality, debauchery, family betrayal, fratricide, incest, wars, horrific sieges, oppression, idolatry, deceit. Informing humanity there is nothing new under the Sun. Over & over we read the stories of humanity longing for help, an intercession, assistance and salvation from the oppressors.
Journey Through Stories
The Advent season is a set of days & weeks before Winter Solstice in which we go back in history & learn more about what occurred in earlier times. (Note, it is perfect that this year, Advent occurs in a Mercury retrograde both in Sag (travelers with a goal) & in Capricorn (Initiation on the mountaintop).
Advent offers us a time to pause, bids us to a state of quiet contemplation, to silence ourselves, ponder life (its births & deaths & even our end of life, as it is the end of the year before Winter Solstice & the new Light begins),and reflect on the cause of the hatred, cruelty, evil that runs roughshod over the world. Do we know why this is occurring? Where would we find the answers? Do we understand the Kali Yuga?
Advent is a time for recollection, prayer and reflection, a time of understanding the “Forces of Light do in the end overcome the forces of darkness.” And to choose which side we actually stand on. Not a philosophical side between the darkness & light and not in between either.
In Advent we prepare for the 12 days of Christmas, not just one day. During Advent should we prepare by reading the bible we will encounter the following –
If we’re wondering where God is in personal tragedy or social chaos, we see that the Jews would understandably have been asking the same thing after they were taken out of Egypt (Taurus Age) and walked in the desert for forty years (purification of the life wave) before entering Canaan. Afterwards the Jewish people were scattered throughout the known world (experiencing the Holocaust & now the present day evils).
Even after they returned to Jerusalem, they were conquered again and again, crushed under Roman occupation.
In the bible, the Psalms and prophets of the daily Mass readings echo again and again the longing for help, salvation and peace, with the certitude that human affairs are broken beyond repair and that only God alone can save us.
The Advent prayers and chants give us a voice, a prayer in our hearts where we can….
1. wrestle with God like Jacob,
2. appeal to God like Jeremiah.
3. The “O Antiphons” offer us a haunting yet beautiful retreat for the final eight days of the season, calling out for God – “O Wisdom,” “O Key of David” – like a watchman waiting for the dawn.
4. The Office of Readings for December 20 gives us St. Bernard’s brilliant account of the Annunciation (announcing to Mary, reminding her she was to be the mother of the holy child) – we, like Gabriel, are painstakingly leaning forward with all of creation awaiting Mary’s reply. We as humanity are silently asking for Mary’s help in this dark time of humanity evolution.
We light our candles each evening & ask for help from the Great Ones to “Lead us O Lords, from darkness to Light; from the unreal to the Real, from death to Immortality, and from chaos to Beauty.”
The Jesse Tree

The Jesse Tree is a journey through Advent, journeying through the bible stories of Jesus’s family tree. Each day of Advent, we read a Bible story about someone on Jesus’s family tree and hang an ornament symbolizing the story on what is called the Jesse Tree. As we decorate our tree, we slowly learn about Jesus, about spiritual history & see how God prepared for Jesus to become the Christ & why His birth affects everyone throughout the generations & Ages. generations.
Where does Jesse Tree come from?
The Jesse Tree tradition is rooted in the old Testament of Isaiah 11:1: “A shoot shall come out from the seed of Jesse, and a branch shall grow out of his roots.” Jesse was the father of David, Israel’s greatest king. And Jesus is descended from the line of David. Jesus is the branch God promised would grow from Jesse’s family tree. Each symbol represents a story from within this family tree and a step toward the birth of the Holy Child in Bethlehemt, the holy chld, Jesus, who was later overshadowed by the Christ, Archangel from Sirius (another story).
