Earth at Perihelion is observed two weeks after the December Solstice, which falls on January 3 or 4 every year — January 4 this year. On this day, the Earth is at the point in its orbit where it is closest to the Sun. The difference is not significant enough to affect the weather, so it remains winter in the northern hemisphere of the earth, and summer in the southern hemisphere. Question:
What is the House of Representatives? Based on the Constitution, the House of Representative makes & passes Federal Laws.

What is Speaker of the House (job) – the Speaker maintains order, manages its proceedings, and governs the administration of its business. Manual Sec. 622; Deschler Ch 6 Sec. Sec. 2-8. Watch the proceedings on Fox News.
The US has Mars/Uranus at this time. The results may be surprising. The voting will go on for some time. It may take days. There may be more rounds of voting. There are 18 Republicans opposing McCarthy. They can’t articulate what they want. They are breaking apart the Rep party. What is the reason for their opposition to McCarthy? It’s a vote against McCarthy. Why is this? Difficult for McCarthy.
As of 2pm Washington DC – No candidate (neither McCarthy or Jeffries) has secured the majority of the vote. In 1923, no person had the majority of the votes. It then goes to a 2nd ballot.
The first order of business of a new Congress is the election of a Speaker. Government stops until a Speaker is elected. This could take a few days. Possible outcomes – if McCarthy doesn’t get 218 – (hard line Rep opponents are stalling the process). Others may come forth to nominate just about anyone.
No one has the vote. Tom Cole & Patrick McHenry may be put up to vote. Steve Scalise, too. Everything’s upside down now in Washington. 234 people need to vote. Lot of chaos now on Capital Hll. No one knows how this will go. Two nightmare scenarios – it took 2 weeks then 2 months in the 1800s to select a House Speaker. We are in uncharted territory now.
Cheryl L. Johnson, Clerk of the House of Rep, stands in for the Speaker of the House till a Speaker is chosen. In 1849 & 56, the House voted & voted. They put forth a resolution – if no speaker, lower the bar & person w/ most votes will be winner. That is how Cobb & Banks were elected in the 1800s. This may happen in this case in our times.
We continue to watch the house floor. Dems clearly for Jeffries. When will they consider the needs of the people of our country. McCarthy wants to protect the border & fire the 187 K IRS workers. Is there a potential consensus candidate? We don’t now. More later as the news continues. Risa
Are we actually just seeing a Uni-party? Is there not really two – Dems/Reps? When everyone was for Bernie, they gave the people Hilary. The Republican party seems unclean. The true prez said he was done with the Rep party. They said nothing about the rigged elections. Both parties have to implode. They are both corrupt. We need a third party. We don’t know the outcome of this scenario – we are waiting, watching. We can’t really trust either party. Who do we trust? Harmeet. Who is running to be chosen for the leadership of the Republican party. And the beat goes on…..

Today is Tuesday, January 3 in the new year of 2023. Tuesday is ruled over by Mars, Ray 6 of desire, aspiration, vision, religion, hopes, wishes & dreams. The color of Ray 6 is sky blue. The Kingdom is colorful each & every day.
Today is the 9th day after Christmas, walking with the Magi Astrologer Kings to Bethlehem (House of Bread & sustantial).
Today, the 9th day, the 9th sign – that of Sagittarius.
All the gifts of Sagittarius are gathered today to be given to the holy child on Epiphany, which means to the whole world.
Sagittarius is Rays 4, 5, 6 – a most complex sign.
It is the sign of Silence & the sign of our sojourn with the Sagittarius Lords to be taught in the Temples of Knowledge.
Sagittarius is also the sign of Discipleship (after Scorpio).

In the Adept the inner alignment is complete. The Divine flows thru the centers, from above downward, into & thru the horizontals into the world.
There is no agitation anxiety fear suspicion tension. There are no disturbances of the inner energies.
The verticals are stronger than the horizontals.
Verticals are divine. Horizontals are of the earth.
Combined, they give direction to humanity.
The verticals are the divine life rotating the horizontals.
The angles expand within to become right angles.
The innumerable centers of God awaken within & we become the Sons & Daughters of God. And Life moves within the Plan.
Six lotuses unfolding, related light transmitted in all directions. Verticals rotate horizontals.

Scorpio is the sign of the warrior. “Warriors are we & from the battle we emerge triumphant.” Scorpio is the sign of Reorientation, Transformation & Regeneration. It is the Phoenix that bursts into flames, becoming the eagle flying in the wind.
The wheel of colors rotates.
Seven colors emerge from wisdom white. When mind marries wisdom, white shines forth & the seven colors shine. White is like melted gold. God is vegetation, spring up of light. A full bloom of light, the body gains vitality. All parts of the body are revitalized, the blood flows in full vigor, a magnetic field. Then man’s vitality is increased 100 fold.
Blue is the color of man (think blue of Krishna – we used to have blood of copper, we now have blood of iron which is Mars).
Blue is deep white. Blue decorates all colors like a blue sapphire presiding over gold green red. The colorful kingdom observing all minds. The observer is raised into equanimity, tranquility. Angularity is suspended. No more noisy talk. The Om is uttered. The wheel of seven colors rotates into wisdom white. Gold melted, green vetated. Red is blood. Blue is sky. The Kingdom is colorful.

On St. Basil’s day a St. Basil bread is made – Vasilopita’ or ‘St. Basil’s bread,’ a sweet bread in which a coin is placed. The person who gets the slice of bread with the coin inside will have good luck in the coming year. The head of the household makes a cross sign over the bread, cuts the first one in offering to Christ, and the second and third slices to St. Basil and the Virgin Mary. The next piece is for the head of the household, and the remaining portions are distributed evenly among the remaining members from eldest to youngest. St. Basil’s monastery cared for the poor.

South Node in Scorpio
The past is over, yet it has an echo effect in our body. The past doesn’t exist anymore, but memory does. There’s a lot of mystery to our memories. As we put the past together each time it changes. All we have is the echo…the pieces of the now thinking about the past. There is no truth in the past anymore. It’s the mystery – if we take the truth & the untruth together – that’s the truth. Memory has to do with the Dweller. Memory isn’t what we think it is. Memory is a creative agent for the future, too. It’s not the memory. It’s the feelings attached to the memories. The feelings are the shadows, the echoes. We try to balance & reorient the feelings. We sift thru the past, it feels like sandpaper. We are attached to the feelings – sadness, fear, etc. that need to be neutralized. Feelings attached to memories. We place them in our Basket of Gratitude & leave the basket in the woods. Eventually they disappear.
With the south node in Scorpio (reorienting the past) – we remember the past. We write our Autobiography of our lives, what we remember from our past. We encounter an alchemical blending of the past, present & future. All things then created new when we review & write down our past experiences. Out of the past, comes the new, reorienting the past into the present/future. “I have created a new life for you, humanity. Having left the old life in the mountains. Now you will live the new life I have created for you.”

And so, begins our Libra (balance, harmony) day – January 1, 2023 – our first day of the new year. The 8th day after Christmas, thus it is the octave of Christmas day.
Today, January 1st is dedicated to the Solemnity (solemn work) of Mary, the Mother of the Holy Child. Today recognizes Mary’s role in the coming forth of the ancient prophecy that “a child would be born who would become the Savior (Pisces world teacher). It is said in the wisdom teachings that only purity, only the pure matter (Mother) can bring forth a Savior for the world.
And so as the new year begins, the new year is placed under the protection of the Holy Mother, the World Mother, so that the humanity of the Earth may progress forward, thriving in this Garden, within the Evolutionary Plan on Earth.
Today, Sunday, January 1, the 7th day after Christmas is Libra’s day. The new year begins each year under the balanced & harmonious sign of Libra – sign of justice, of peace, of all things balanced. Libra, Ray 3 (like the Earth, Ray 3, like Saturn, Ray 3). All of matter imbued with Divine Intelligence. Libra, the sign of equilibrium – “we choose the Way that leads between two great lines of force.” We see the polarities, we stand at the apex of the triangle integrating all that is separated. Venus steps in & brings all that is separated into a whole & harmony. Libra, the balancing of the scales.
And so, as today is the beginning of our new year, we remember the quote from Dune – “A beginning is the time for taking the most delicate care that the balances are correct.” All that we do today, we do with harmony, with balance, with delicate care. This then sets the template for the upcoming new year. Where the “best is yet to come.”

Today is the 6th day after Christmas – that of Virgo, the Madonna, the Mother gestating the holy child (the Soul of that which is yet to come). Virgo is Rays 2 & 6 – the physical body of matter ordered & organized, virgin pure, giving birth to the Savior. Only virgin matter can give birth to a Savior.
“I am the Mother, I am the Child, I, God, I Matter, AM.”
Matter (3) is imbued with spirit (1) – together they create the holy child – the Light of the Soul (2). Note the Rays.
The last day of 2022 – December 31st. Saturday, Saturn’s day.
Ray 3 day – Sun in Capricorn (1, 3, 7), Taurus (4) moon (at 9:04am west coast time). Mercury & Venus in Capricorn. Mercury retrograde. Mars retrograde in Gemini. We begin the new year in several retrogrades – Mercury (24 Cap), Mars (9 Gemini), Uranus 15 Taurus) & Pallas Athena (21 Cancer).
Venus & Mercury & Mars & Jupiter & Saturn are all gathered together to greet the new year of 2023. All seen in the evening skies. Mercury is seen in the evening for only 24 hours as the new year begins. We won’t be Mercury again till March 26th (in its retrograde shadow).

Telling the Bees – Bees as Messengers between worlds.
Today is Friday, Venus’s day. Ray 5 day.
Bees are from Venus.
Ray 5 day – Truth & true science day.
We recollect the thought of bees today.
The bees came from Venus when the Lord of the World entered our lands. The Lord of the world brought the Venusian bees to Shamballa.
Showing humanity how to live in harmony – the bees in their collective & serving ways of living.
Inviting the bees to participate in family events.
The bees, in ancient times, were parts of the households of the people. Whatever occurred in the family (births, deaths, weddings, leavings, comings, goings, tilling, building, etc.) the bees were told. When there was a death, the bees went into mourning. When a wedding, the bees flew about in joy.
When Queen Elizabeth died the bees on the palace lands were told by the bee keeper who said “The mistress has died, but there is now a new master, & he will tend to you with love & with care.” The telling of the bees about the household’s events speaks of the bees importance to the life of humanity & to farmers and to those who live in nature. Delivering important information to the bees implies that there is a special relationship that exists between honeybees and humans that is essential to maintain.
There is another story here. There is something deeply mysterious about the bees & humanity. We need to unearth it.
In Celtic mythology, bees were considered messengers between this world and the spirit realm.

Our 5th day of walking with the Astrologer Magi kings.

In Leo we cultivate our gifts so when Aquarius calls, we are ready to offer our gifts in service to humanity.

Cancer’s day. Moon, Neptune, Neptune day.
Rays 1 & 3 day. The most beautiful of keynotes.

Cancer – the light house.
Cancer – sign of nurturing, nourishing, hospitable self.
In the womb of Cancer the physical form is built. And Cancer

These are good words.
The NGWS are aware of how Goodwill is created in humanity.
We align with the Will-to-Good (Ray1 into Ray 2).
And radiate the Will-to-Good to humanity.
And then the Will-to-Good becomes Goodwill in humanity.
Understanding this “precipitation” is the task of all Disciples.
